We have just returned from a vacation and, while my impressions are fresh, I hasten to share: I hope it will be useful to someone, since there are very few reviews about this hotel.
So, Riu Cypria Resort is a complex of 2 4 * hotels Cypria Bay (in which we lived) and Cypria Maris. They work according to the All Inclusive system. In Cyprus, this system fully justifies itself. since Cyprus is the eurozone, everything is very expensive here, if you translate everything at the rate. More expensive than in Greece, for example. Dinner for three will cost 50 euros - no frills. Beer 0.5l - 3.90 euros. Cold drinks 0.33 - from 1.80 to 2.50 euros. Ice cream from 2 euros, etc. So AI for families with children is what you need.
So, about the hotel.
Accommodation: rooms with and without sea view. We were lucky: although the "view of the garden" was paid for, we were still settled with a view of the sea, however, the roof of the terrace began from under the balcony, but is this really a problem?

The rooms are clean and well-maintained, cleaning is done daily, towel figurines are always made even without a tip, shampoos are changed even if more than half is left. Cleaning is exactly at the hours that you indicate at the reception. Towels are changed daily even if they are not on the floor. One Russian TV channel - ORT.
The minibar is not full. Safe 2.60 euros per day. We did not use as this hotel does not steal. You can forget or lose anything anywhere in the hotel - tomorrow you will find it at the reception (you just have to ask). This is how we found our watch, glasses, cap.
If you do not know English at least at a conversational level, there will be difficulties. There are Russian-speaking staff, but they work in shifts, and Russian-speaking, as a rule, only 1 person at the reception and 1 at the bars. But there are Russians among the maids.
contingent: British 60%, Poles - 20%, the rest - the French, Germans, Finns, Cypriots, Greeks. During our stay from Ukraine - no one but us. From Russia - 2 families. In this regard (that is, the complete absence of compatriots), the level of service is quite European.
For dinner, it is customary to dress "in a restaurant": long trousers are required for men, high heels, smart dresses, skirts, etc. will not be superfluous for ladies. All hotel ladies, as a rule, for dinner - with makeup and hair, sometimes some even in expensive jewelry, and some even in stockings (this is in such heat).
Meals: Breakfast is standard. 5 types of muesli, milk, natural yogurt, 2 types of fruit salads, peeled oranges, grapefruits, dates, prunes, raisins, vegetables, eggs in all possible forms, sausages, cheeses, fried bacon, pates, buns, croissants, jams, toast, pancakes, etc.
Lunch: on the terrace. in addition to all kinds of salads, there are always 2 types of meat, 2 types of fish, 2 types of pizza, Italian. pasta, french fries, baked, boiled, etc. As well as fruits and desserts plus ice cream. It is simply unrealistic to stay hungry in this hotel.
Dinner is not a meal. This is a gourmet feast.
And turtle backs, geese, ducks, octopuses, shrimps, oysters, mussels, fish - a variety of fish, pork, veal, lamb, lamb. And all this in delicious sauces: orange, grape, champagne, cherry, etc. Desserts, fruits - as always.
In general, the food is great.

Now about drinks. It's better than I expected.
3 types of beer, 5 types of wine, local martini bianko, rosso and extra dry in cocktails - very decent, Teacher's whiskey, tequila, Latvian vodka, champagne in the morning for breakfast in ice buckets, ouzo , gin, rum, brandy.
By the way, they serve a very decent orange juice for breakfast.
Pools: there are 2 of them: one in Maris (normal, but deep), the second - in Bay (with stones, fountains, waterfalls, a bar in the water, a jacuzzi, bridges). Since the main contingent is the bourgeois-Europeans, they swim only in the pools, and therefore they take their places from 6 in the morning. those who did not have time before 7, they occupy on the lawns, and therefore the entire beach is at your personal disposal. We came to 9, chose sun loungers with 2 umbrellas, and only at 11 those who did not have time to sit by the pool pulled up to the beach.
the sea is a miracle. Cleaner and cooler. The entrance is gentle - sand, or from the pier.
Umbrellas and sun loungers are free of charge, however, there are no mattresses at all, and this is perhaps the only negative of this hotel.
Beach towels are issued 1 per person and change them at least 3 times a day.
Show programs every evening. Sometimes very interesting, sometimes quite specific to the English. A pianist plays in the hotel lobby during the pre-dinner aperitif and bingo after dinner. and in Maris - live music. In Maris - a very decent bar. In general, Maris is a wonderful hotel in a knightly style, immersed in greenery. But in the evening, mosquitoes bit me personally on the terrace of Maris.
What else? Children. There is a mini club, English and Polish speaking, but for children this is not a problem. But the junior club: there, teenagers without knowledge of English will have a hard time and it’s not interesting.
Summarize. great hotel for family holidays.

To the center of entertainment establishments and the embankment-port - 10 min. And then another 10 minutes. to the Temple of Dionysus and other attractions. It is better to take excursions from your tour operators - it will be cheaper, I checked. Excellent excursions - "Donkey Farm" and "Grand Tour" in Cyprus.
Recomend for everybody!
I hope my review will be useful to you and help you decide on the choice of hotel.
