Firstly, all the negative reviews about the hotel are absolutely true!
The rooms are old, food is at the dining room level, a paid refrigerator and the Internet, the staff will become really attentive and active only after claims expressed aggressively in English. Before that, they will keep their own and pretend that nothing is happening. As was correctly noted by most tourists: yes, nothing, in general, BUT not for that kind of money. About five stars is just a joke. This is not even a triple in the same Cyprus!
We paid for two standard rooms. Arrived around 21:00.
We were given keys to two rooms. One on the first floor, the other on the second.
Settled in room 131 on the first floor, next to the laundry: very dirty - dust everywhere, the table is sticky in something sweet, very smoky. Reported about it. A woman came and sprayed with an aerosol. . . It became simply impossible to breathe!!!

Only when the employees were asked to give their names to write a complaint and review on the Internet - they provided a suite (family). For the night. At the same time, they tried to persuade everyone to move there. To the question of how the difference in the cost of two standards and one suite would be compensated, they honestly answered that there was no way.
The next day found a normal room. In both rooms for two days they put wine in small bottles, fruits, gave out bathrobes, slippers and provided a free refrigerator.
So, the impression of the settlement is very bad - this is not a vacation! Met two women from Yekaterinburg! Impressions from the room and the settlement they have is even worse! They said they cried the first day. Well, why cry - you need to rest!
There are many Europeans with families in the hotel. They live in the hotel for a long time and "for the sake of the children", relax around the pool. Without children, from children : ) rest in other hotels and countries. They called Italy, Spain, Greece. Although there are many very young student couples without children.
Walking and jogging along the sea. The road goes between the tombs of the kings and the sea, to the hotel Elysium and beyond. The hotel itself has a fitness room. Only closed shoes are allowed. Reviews about the hall are good. But the table tennis table is quite old, the halves do not converge; stuffy in the room.
If, nevertheless, you decide to go to this hotel, then choose a room in advance! Because there are rooms for the parking (road), above the restaurant (heat and noise), for the wasteland, for the pool... if you want silence and a view of the sea, then these are numbers from 221 and further odd - this is the second floor, on the third - Same. . .
The wildness of the beach and the sea has its own charm. But swimming should be done with great care. If you are traveling with small children, and the goal is to improve your health at sea, then definitely Coral Bay!
Nutrition. Fast food fans will love it. French fries, ketchup, mayonnaise, fried wings, battered squid rings, etc. - teenagers like it.
About seafood: very tasteless fish (a couple of times), salted, rubber octopuses, once there were fried mussels. The 'ocean busket' restaurant is far away. Opens at 12.00.
I do not recommend eating on the promenade in Paphos. Expensive and often trash.

The hotel has a very good shop for all sorts of things. From Cyprus they brought the Commander of the company KEO, but this time they decided to buy another manufacturer in the hotel. Much more interesting and delicious.
