First, about the good - clean, hotel on the beach (municipal beach without umbrellas and sunbeds, you can beg (! ) from the hotel to put you in) good location, we had a view of the tombs of the kings (essentially a field with archaeological excavations, if you bend over balcony side - you could see the sea : ) ), bus stop nearby - you can get to any part of the city, buses run every 10 minutes, ticket - 1 euro, for the whole day - 3 euros.
now the negatives: the first thing that struck me was that we booked a honeymoon trip, but there was nothing wedding. we were not even congratulated at the reception, although it was indicated in our office that we were newlyweds. Nothing at all!
second - the pool is actually half as much as it seems in the pictures. warm and highly chlorinated.

the beach is dirty, with cigarette butts, and it is dangerous to swim there. that is, there is such a phenomenon as oncoming waves - huge waves come into the bay from three sides and are strongly drawn into the sea. we liked it - we love to jump on the waves, but you don't need to go deep. with us, a guy was pulled out of the water, he survived, and then for a long time he was looking for a girl who pulled him out. You can't go to sea with kids! nearby, in 10-15 minutes there is a calmer, but stone beach. you can take a bus to the port or Coral Beach, which we did to snorkel (by the way, very beautiful)
well, the biggest minus, even MINUSISCHE - FOOD !!!
not much food to choose from. poor in the morning - eggs, bacon, soy sausages, juices, fruits (very little choice all day - only oranges, sour grapes, unripe plums, sometimes melon or watermelon), coffee, juice, tea. for lunch and evening there is more choice, but for lunch and dinner - the same thing. once we were surprised by an Italian evening. there is no food for children. salads could be served several times the same. once they even put it frankly spoiled - it stank. we made a remark to the manager, he said that such a smell was due to fish (from the fish there were only crab sticks). the cook came and added a lot of spices to the salad. my husband tried it - he got indigestion (by the way, it was a common occurrence there at first, until we realized which products from our restaurant should not be eaten), and on the last day we were given fermented juice. he was not liked by everyone who sat at the neighboring tables. They told the manager that a council of cooks had gathered near the juice counter, but the juice remained on the table.
if not all inclusive - drinks are free only for breakfast. the rest is paid. a small bottle of water, 0.25 - 3.5 euros, a glass of wine -12 euros (wine in the store 2 euros a bottle)
Upon check-out, we were given an invoice for beer, which we did not drink at all during our stay at the hotel.
only men in trousers and more comfortable dresses of women are allowed into the hotel restaurant
RESULT: you can go, only for breakfast. eat cheaper and healthier in city restaurants. dinner for 4 people to the full in a nearby cafe cost us 66 euros. at the hotel dinner for one person is calculated for 40 euros.
with children you need to go to other hotels. you need to be able to swim well, or not too lazy to go to neighboring beaches. there is no animation, if you are going to sit in a hotel - choose another hotel.

we were fine, since we chose an active holiday - we traveled a lot, swam every day on a new beach, watched different places.
By the way, be sure to visit the water park and the zoo. our tour operator told us that it is not necessary, that it is only for children. but we went from the opposite, as the hotel turned out to be in the description not the same as the operator said. both in the zoo and in the water park it is very, very interesting and there is something to do even for very adult and serious people.
so weigh the pros and cons. and more - MANY Russians, you won't rest from your native country!
