My first holiday abroad, Cyprus 2013

Travel agency: they were afraid to take a tour with a girl in an unknown company "Dali Tour", but everything worked out, the staff was responsive, helped in everything, offered tea, coffee while the relevant documents were being filled out, one "but" - the travel agent does not know everything about the state beaches, urban and hotel conditions, the knowledge is the same as that of a slightly more advanced computer user, that is, even in some moments it is more profitable and instructive to find out the information yourself! In general, not bad, no complaints! We took a tour on credit 82 thousand for 2 people, dinner, breakfast... 9 days, 10 nights, Cyprus, Paphos, 4 * hotel.
Obtaining documents before departure: they said that they would notify 2-3 days in advance, in extreme cases 24 hours, but they called at 12 noon, and departure at 8 am))... a letter came to the post office, they called . . politely asked how it was convenient for us take.
Flight: carried out through Transaero, a large Boeing 747-500, food, silent flight, blankets, staff on the plane - I liked everything. It takes 3 hours and 20 minutes to fly, it’s not a big deal. Getting baggage at the airport in Larnaca is not like in Pulkovo-2, but it’s calm and fast, maybe of course the girl and I ran quickly, I don’t know)) I arranged the flight back, but the second passport control was already in The Russian Federation and the receipt of luggage by Russian fellow citizens leaves much to be desired... I just wanted to pin up and bleat like a sheep in their faces, who cannot wait)
Duty free in Larnaca: chic, more profitable than in the Russian Federation, diverse; advice - do not waste money on souvenirs and alcohol in the city, buy what you need in duty free before departure, there is everything you need =)
Transfer: it’s terribly hot in Larnaca, I didn’t feel like a northerner, but the next day I got used to such dense, warm air, in Paphos it’s usually 7 degrees cooler than in Larnaca! The transfer took 1.5 hours, our hotel was the last in the delivery but bearable.
Hotel Capital Coast Resort & Spa 4*:
Staff and reception: many speak Russian, friendly, which could not help but like it, for all 9 days, 10 nights of rest, no one was rude even once!
Room: in the voucher there was a Standard room with a sea view, but they settled in another one, it wasn’t... then it appeared a couple of days later, not globally... there is a balcony, a table with 2 chairs, with access to the pool, the sea is still visible, so that it is 50 meters away) Towels were changed every day, trash cans are clean as you come, shampoo, air conditioning in small bottles is, pleased, bath and shower are separate, a large mirror, there is always hot water, the air conditioner sometimes did not work, but it was always cool. Ironing board, iron, safe, refrigerator, a bunch of hangers were present.
Food: In this hotel only - breakfasts and dinners, or no meals; I liked the food exceptionally, there is not a huge variety, but everything is very tasty, fresh, clean fruits, vegetables, plates, tablecloths....dinner by candlelight in the evening =)
Who wants lunch - poolside bar, large portions, tasty, satisfying, not so expensive, but better take a couple of days of food at the local supermarket "LIDL" (LiDL), everything is fresh, tasty, much cheaper than in the mini-market in the hotel !!
Next to the cafe where you eat there is a paid bar, drinks are prepared exclusively by a sweet girl, very kind, friendly, generous! Tipped her three times))
The hotel has 2 shallow pools for children, one more or less deep for adults (fresh), 1 indoor fresh, there is a shower outside, there is also a shower near the indoor pool, also sunbeds, there is a spa (we didn’t go, we can’t say) . . there is a sauna! there are paid services, beach towels are changed there (brown towels), do not confuse with white license plates))
There are paid entertainments - billiards, table tennis, slot machines. Every day, except Wednesday, a Russian-speaking guide comes in the morning, we order everything there, we personally went "Half a day in Paphos" . . a sea cruise on a luxury yacht with drinks, lunch.
There is NO own beach) but there is a small beach of the Venus Beach hotel nearby, go to the left of the lighthouse 1.5-2 km... there is a good public beach with a cafe and horizontal bars, swings... some excavations and a large walking path, you can rent it at the hotel bikes for 10 euros a day. To the right, go a couple of local wild beaches, there are quite good ones (all the beaches listed are sandy)... sand throughout the entry into the sea, the water is very clean, there are not even stones, and thank God, otherwise there were not enough sea urchins)) Garbage is present in small quantities, it is not in the sea.
Climate: smear creams of the maximum factor, otherwise you will burn like grilled chicken, it just seems sometimes that it’s not so hot and you won’t burn... like not Egypt, you can burn even in water, it’s not bad to swim in a T-shirt, the water is like a magnifying glass))
there are clouds in Paphos in August, and even more so you won’t get rain, sometimes there is wind, it’s divine, though it’s not during the day, but in the evening)....walking from 12 to 17 is fraught with heat and burn))... the climate is dry , semi-steppe (much less vegetation than in Greece, for example)... pomegranates, pears, even bananas grow, but not everywhere, lemons, limes, grapefruits, grapes, olives... apple loki they have a delicacy, since they do not grow from -dry climate.
People in the city are friendly, kind, smile, greet just like that....the city is small, but there are beautiful places, in principle, I can’t say anything about hard shopping... you can buy a lot of things for cheap, especially in bazaars, and branded things and in one place it’s better in duty free, of course, they don’t trade, of course, but reliably)
Bottom line: my experience with a girl at the expense of Cyprus was the first and I can say that if we go to Cyprus, then we will either choose a hotel ourselves... and better 5 * with a fabulous beach, or we will go to Greece for the same money or somewhere else )))....look at the Venus Beach 5 * hotel or Elysium 5 *... they are really better, although we liked ours quite
By the way, we saw from living creatures . . a sea turtle, a bunch of lizards, even hummingbirds, crabs, sea cucumber, local cats))...
. . . do not waste your days in the hotel, walk, get to know each other, try excursions (who wants to write - I will send a photo with the name and price of excursions)))). . .
