Hello! In Cyprus rested with his wife for the first time. We chose apartments for a long time, and finally settled on Helios Bay. Many thanks to Irina and Elena at the reception, as well as to all the staff.

No ants were found in the room. All the staff are very polite and helpful.

We were frightened that all the beaches were made of stone, and it was only necessary to enter the water in the Crocs, otherwise “bo-bo” and “ay-yay-yay” legs. Our beach turned out to be gorgeous, sandy (we were visited by vacationers from other hotels). The descent to it was on stones, but people aged "60-70+" overcame them. Often the sea delighted us and surfers (yes, SURFERS) with huge waves.

I hesitated: whether to rent a car, because. traffic in Cyprus is English, and the steering wheel is on the right (. . . but literally a day later I got used to it. We rented a car from the company "Privilege Cars". I booked it online, by e-mail (they also answered all my questions). Pros of a rental company: they don’t freeze a credit card account (they don’t need it at all), they don’t take a deposit, the tank can be emptied, there were no mileage restrictions.

Bottom line: 30 euros per day + 15 euros for delivering a car to a hotel + 52 euros for an almost full tank, we had a car for 4 days, and we drove more than 300 km on a Mazda Demio (Mazda 2) with a gun and Conder.

I advise EVERYONE to rent a car in Cyprus (if you are not afraid of sharp turns, serpentines), because. YOU are not tied to a bus with tourists who do not take pictures in any way, and do not run around the toilets and blah blah blah . . You can go around 2-3 places in a day, while with this excursion it will take a whole day.

Prices for food in supermarkets are different (higher than in Ukraine), we stocked up at Lidl, which is on the way to Paphos, and in another store, which is located in Coral Bay. We also ate in restaurants, and in such an institution as "Ocean Basket" (seafood in abundance).

Oh, you can still rent a boat in Paphos right on the waterfront, depending on the L. S. the price fluctuates. We took 60 hp. for an hour = 50 euros... it's WOWUUUUU....you don't need a license, but rubber shorts can be worn if you are afraid of speed on the waves! )... Ask questions, I will answer.
