Hello. First time in Cyprus. Been to many places before. Traveled for 13 days with a fellow traveler. Let's get started.
Country - combed Crimea. People are an intelligent scoop. Prices - as we have in supermarkets. Cafes - 10-15Ё from the nose. The beaches are all public and free, so every time I sunbathed in a different place. Sun loungers and umbrellas are paid. But if you sunbathe before dinner, then you can get it for free: tax collectors go before dinner. The food at the hotel is a real austerity, but I was fine.
I will describe my average breakfast and dinner: Breakfast: a glass of milk, milk with dumplings (that's what I call corn flakes), 2 sandwiches with honey and cheese, 4 slices of Adyghe cheese. There is an opportunity to make sandwiches for the whole day - the waiters don't care, because there are only Russians and everyone is already used to it.
2 Dinner: Salads or vegetables drizzled with olive oil, fish (or meat), scrambled eggs/spaghetti, olives, oranges, rice and grated cheese on top.
The room is small but clean. We cleaned every day. Never left a tip. For things and passports - they were not afraid.
There is nothing to do on the territory of the hotel. Unless there is an abandoned water park behind the hotel - you can climb there from hell to do.
Havka - stocked up at Lidl. I often bought juice there for 1Ё per liter and for 2-2.50Ё I bought a box (6 pcs) of awesome ice creams in a biscuit or tube for a promotion.
Animals - there are cats, no dogs. A bunch of geckos running around - funny creatures. Hungry fish swim in the sea near volcanic reefs - they eat everything. I counted 8 varieties. There are crabs and funny snails.
Flora - lawns, palm trees, flowering trees, lemons - on the territory of the hotel, free watermelons, melons and oranges in the gardens. Now the figs are ripening. Plus - red delicious crap grows along the roads. Plum size. Produces milk. Tastes like dogwood. They ate a lot and not one day - alive. But the locals don't eat (get drunk, bitches).
Excursions - I personally went only to Famagusta. Was satisfied. The rest of the excursions are rare crap: it takes 3-4 hours to go for 15 minutes to splash in the fountain or just "for show".
Climbing - it was great to save the phone with a Google map loaded in advance through a free Wi-Fi. We climbed on foot all the nearby villages within a radius of 15 km. Quite unstressed. I categorically recommend walking in CAVO GREKO to the cape. From there you can return home along the promenade - through various interesting caves and interesting volcanic embankments. Very, very, very beautiful. A bunch of benches just on the edge of the cliff overlooking the sea.
Budget - for almost 2 weeks I spent only 100Ё. FOR ALL.
