Well, here it is, the Czech Republic! The Czech Republic is an amazing country, every meter is a work of art. First you photograph every house, street, then you realize that this is not the creator of perfection in relation to other objects. In practice, with regards to everyday life, prices in Czech supermarkets differ from ours by a couple of hryvnias, but the quality is many times....If you want to buy clothes, it is better to go in early April, during the sales season, from the New Yorker clothing supermarket in the very center you won’t leave without shopping, that’s for sure (at that price, the quality is also German). You choose a cafe by the price of beer, the higher the price of beer, the higher the cost of dishes, respectively. Do not sit at tables where there is a standard set of ketchups and condiments, you will have to pay for it, and moreover, it is not cheap. They tried the boar knee, liked it (the price even in the center fluctuates at times, so you need to ask). There are many exchange offices, but before you change money, ask out loud how much 100 euros will cost....(we were heated by 100 hryvnia during the exchange, how much mentally I could buy with this money... the toad pressed not from the loss of the course, but from the fact that that they divorced, how....). The most profitable course is for people of Caucasian nationality... yes, yes, I'm not mistaken, look for them and they will help you. Buy Swarovski in a special company store, it is cheaper there than in Austria. It is better to buy the notorious garnets and jewelry with them in shopping centers away from the central part (a simple gilded pendant with garnets - 300 UAH)
Do not forget that in Prague, travel in all public transport takes place on a common ticket - a jezdenka, which is calculated not for the number of landings, but for the time. The cheapest is 17 crowns (divided by 2.3) for 20 minutes, 35 crowns for 40 minutes (during this time you can use the metro, tram and minibus). Moreover, urban transport runs very often during the daytime. We were not told initially, but there is a children's room and for pensioners. If you plan to spend the whole day traveling, then you can buy a travel card (you can buy it in the evening and it will be valid until the evening of the next day).
What to visit: if for the first time in Prague, then a sightseeing tour will give you a guide, and then anywhere. Be sure to visit the zoo (one of the best in Europe), you are guaranteed 6 hours of self-guided tour. The Czech metro is small in length and covers all the sights (there are icons on the map in the metro). Getting lost is almost impossible. You can see the view of Prague from the television tower (except for the views of nothing interesting), go to the national museum, see the castle on Troy, the dancing house, the monument to peeing presidents, the toy museum. A walk along the Vltava at night leaves a double feeling - on the one hand, a small excursion + dinner, on the other hand, 20 euros - who hesitates, you need to take it (it leaves an impression anyway). It’s impossible to cover everything the first time…. .
