We visited the Tchaikovsky Hotel in November of this year together with my husband from 3 to 17 November. The ticket was ordered at the Turbo-Travel travel company, from the girl Alina, special thanks to her for her help. Flying with Czech Airlines. There are no special complaints, everything was very good, without flight delays and excesses. The only thing is that the food on Czech Airlines did not seem tasty to me. Upon arrival at the Karlovy Vary airport, the manager Alexander met us and took us to the hotel, talking about sights and excursions. We immediately bought an excursion to Loket Castle with a visit to the Medieval show and a beer tasting with a piglet. As a result, we really liked the castle itself and the city of Loket, after a sightseeing tour of the city and the castle, we were taken to a restaurant, where, according to the old, medieval way, a pig was cooked for us in an earthen oven. Before and after the pig we were shown a very funny and incendiary show with dances, songs and tricks. We also got a free tour of the city of Karlovy Vary from the Turbo tour company. We didn’t have to walk much, we mostly went by bus, very informative! Later we took other excursions, because. we had plenty of time. Tchaikovsky itself is located along Sadovaya Street, it is not far from the springs and the center. All major sights can be reached on foot. Very comfortably. The hotel is cozy and modern, new furniture, plumbing in the bathroom, TV, very fast internet. We cleaned the room and changed towels every day, the bathroom has all the accessories for washing. Unfortunately, the only thing missing in the room was a kettle and cups, as we really like to drink tea in the evenings. The bar is paid, even water. But not far from the hotel, as you go down to the springs, there is a shop run by the Chinese, where you can buy everything cheaper, and of the same quality as in other stores. We bought water and fruits there. We also took home Becherovka and traditional waffles. As for the treatment, there have never been any negative aspects. Everything was fine: the procedures were on schedule, we were immediately given bathrobes and slippers. I liked gas injections, they are indicated for diseases of the musculoskeletal system, they were prescribed to us by the doctor Mikhail, he was our attending physician. Special thanks to him for his professional approach with knowledge of his business. We also visited the pool with underwater massage, sauna and did therapeutic mud. The procedures of local action were carried out before the procedures of general action. The interval between procedures was 2 hours. As a rule, in one day we had three - four physical. procedures. The most recent procedure was prescribed as an easier one on another organ or system. In general, the doctor and nurses would like to put a solid 5. One can feel a conscientious attitude to work, high professionalism and goodwill towards people, many thanks to them! Since we took half board, so we had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, I was at breakfast several times (followed a diet), but the husband every morning. I will put a solid 5 from his words, he really liked the food, especially the apple strudel. As well as cleanliness and service. Later, our friends flew to the hotel, on our recommendation. They also liked him very much. As for food in Karlovy Vary, it's just something. Everything is very tasty and indecently high-calorie! A huge number of cafes and restaurants open their doors to you, we ordered wild mushroom soup - sooo delicious, amazing!!! ! The husband ordered a boar's knee - their national dish. This is not a knee, but a knee, they can feed a small family for a week. He liked this. Naturally, they drank beer, they have it different, for every taste. The price there is not cheap, we did not leave less than 1500 crowns in any restaurant. Vary is not such a cheap city as they say. But you can eat not in a restaurant, but in street tents. There you can taste the most delicious Czech sausages, these tents are not far from the post office. Be sure to try the local sweet treat - Trdelnik! These are buns that are baked on large round sticks. I would also like to say something about currency exchange. They often deceive. The course in different exchangers jumps in different ways. Therefore, it is better to exchange money immediately, for example, there is a Czech bank in Moscow, we changed it there. But, of course, we did not have enough kroons, so we had to change the euro in Vary. Show the bill in the glass and let them show you on the calculator how much you will receive in return. Only after that, if the rate is profitable, give money to the teller. Karlovy Vary itself is a beautiful, beautiful and cozy city. Very hospitable. Walking on it you are charged with the most positive emotions. I would like to go there again, but only in the summer or spring.
