The breakfast was the same, Wi-Fi was broken, the TV was terrible, small, the room always stank of something, the neighbors were noisy and no one said anything. There are different people at the reception all the time, neither hello nor yet, they only know the Czech language, the most pleasant thing is the location of the hotel. The bed for the spouses was given separate, they just moved it, and there was a hole between me and my husband!

Neither the security service, nor the attention of the employees at the reception who enters, who leaves the hotel was not observed. Come on in and do whatever you want. During breakfast in the hotel restaurant, which is located in the basement, our purse was stolen from the inside pocket of the jacket. It contained: a passport, a credit card, cash and a magnetic card from the number. We realized the loss of the purse immediately at breakfast. They immediately turned to the reception with a request to call the police and issue a new magnetic card from the room. But we got the answer that they do not understand us. The group leader called the police. And the card was remagnetized only after the police arrived. At the hotel, Russians are treated with disdain, although we also pay them money for staying at the hotel, like tourists from the European Union. In general, Prague is a fairy tale, which you must visit for sure.

The hotel is located far from the metro, about 8 minutes on foot (metro IP Pavlova), there are many hotels closer to the metro. I didn’t like the staff, at the reception after 1 a. m. (like) they are trying to kick me out of the hall, such as by numbers, you can’t smoke in the hall. In fact, an ordinary European ratty hotel, of which there are a lot everywhere. … More ▾ The hotel is located far from the metro, about 8 minutes on foot (metro IP Pavlova), there are many hotels closer to the metro. In Prague, my wife and I were going to spend the last 3 days of vacation after a 2-week bike ride through Germany and the Czech Republic... A double room was booked and paid for. A double room was booked and paid for.
At the reception, after asking where you can put the bikes, the girl answered that you can put them in the garage (a 7x6m room inside the hotel), in a place where there are no cars (near garbage, as it turned out later).
Taking off our backpacks and linking the bikes together with a cable, we went to the room.
Until the evening we walked around Prague on foot.
The next day, going down, near the door that leads to the garage, they saw a broken cable from my bike and pliers nearby. There were no bicycles in place....For some reason, they broke and left a cable to which the bicycles were not attached, well, oh well - the reaction of the girl at the reception was interesting - they didn’t see anything, didn’t hear anything, the video camera doesn’t record if If you want, we can call the police.
Yes, 2 doors led to the garage room - in addition to the main entrance through which cars leave, you can get into this room through the service entrance - an ordinary interior door.
I assume that if the outer doors are closed at night, then those who have the key to this door could enter the garage, and who knows that no one is looking at the camera and no video is being recorded...
Vopschem, the police were called, the description was made... and that's it.
This is where it all ended. The remaining 2 days we walked around Prague as if they had been lowered into the water, they didn’t really see anything, and didn’t buy anything - there was no mood.
They returned angry at the Czechs, Prague and their own carelessness - they had to be tied with chains to a pole, although I think it would not help.
In Berlin and Karlovy Vary, bicycles were simply left on the street....Even pumps have not gone away.
P. S. The bicycles of the Germans, who arrived a day later, were placed in the Lagage Room.... maybe they treat us differently?
P. P. S. New bikes of this level cost 36 thousand, not counting the equipment that is attached to them...

We were at the hotel with my wife from 07/21/10 to 07/23/10, after a bike ride Berlin - Karlovy Vary - Prague.
The last two days we planned to stay at this hotel (there was a reservation).
They settled just in the part with the garage, so how, normal Russian people were told to leave the bikes in the garage.
We naturally linked them together and left them in this garage, which by the way, as well as the main exit from it, is viewed by video cameras.
In the morning, walking after breakfast, I noticed that my cable was lying near the entrance to the hotel, and pliers were nearby.
There were no bikes. . .
Attention, the reaction of the hotel:
we can't help, sorry - the camera is not recording video, so let's call the police.....
We called the police, of course.
After that, the hotel guys began to repair the entrance locks, take out the garbage from the garage...
The next day we left Prague for nothing - the vacation was ruined and Prague already looked in a different light.
It's a shame that the old ones are great - more than 5 years old and drove 10.000 km each - who could need them?
Vopschem, keep your ears open, if anything.

In fact, not everything turned out to be as rosy as we would like. The entire hotel was populated by groups of Italian students. They made so much noise not only at night but also in the morning at breakfast. We were placed in a second building with a separate entrance. At night there was complete chaos. The screams and cackle of drunken German women, the endless running of Italians up the stairs. And all this at 3-4 o'clock in the morning! Another inconvenience that breakfast had to be walked across the street. And if you come a little later, there may not be places and you have to wait. In the end, we were very unpleasantly surprised by the fact that the hotel administration probably decided to keep the dry breakfast on the day of departure. And not a single tourist received an intelligible answer to the question about this. Like this. I do not advise to go to this hotel, who loves a relaxing holiday and comfort. There are a lot of cheap hotels in Prague, but with good reviews.

Let me tell you, everything was great. I will not write about the sights of Prague and excursions, there is so much information about this. I will write about something that can be useful to those who travel for the first time to Prague or even abroad.
It was proposed to arrive at the airport 2 hours before departure, we made sure we arrived for 3, but the representative of Lanta Tour was already there and immediately gave us all the documents.
Next flight on a Boeing of Czech Airlines, transfer and arrival at the hotel.
The hotel is located in my opinion quite well: two blocks from the tram and four from the metro. Earlier in one of the reviews I read about noisy students, maybe not at that time of the year, but there was silence on the street around the clock. We fed for breakfast: tea, coffee, juices, three types of buns, three types of sausages, cheese, vegetables, fruits, various yogurt. From the center (Wenceslas or Old Town Square) 25 minutes on foot. Towels were changed once a week. Cleaning of course every day. In general, I recommend if the two of you without children, because. the rooms are small and the third one will definitely be superfluous.
Money. The best option is to have 100-300 euros “for every fireman” and a set (at least 2 pcs. ) of plastic cards to a ruble bank account. The commission for exchanging currency for crowns in Prague is from 2 to 10%, in the opposite direction 0%, which is written on each exchanger. What our tourists very often peck at. Upon arrival, I immediately withdrew 10.000 kroons from an ATM at the airport, for which my native bank, taking into account 1% commission, withdrew 12.052 rubles. Neither by buying kroons in Moscow, nor by exchanging euros and dollars in Prague, you will have such an exchange rate. Only at an ATM is it profitable to withdraw amounts exceeding the approximate equivalent of $ 300. Because the ATM withholds 1% of the amount, but at least $ 3 (we have $ 2 in Russia). In almost every store and restaurant you will accept plastic cards for payment.
Tax free. When shopping in stores for more than 2000 kroons, require a document for Tax-Free. Almost all stores provide this service. Its essence is that when leaving the country right at the airport, you will be reimbursed for the VAT withheld from you when buying (in the Czech Republic it is 19%). True, at the same time they withhold another 28% commission on the amount to be returned, so you will receive 13% of the amount paid in the store in your hands.
Of course, not thick, but at least one extra bottle of Becherovka is definitely enough. You can buy the latter right there in the duty-free shop, and 20 kroons cheaper (any packaging) than even in its company store in Karlovy Vary. What can not be said about the beer, it is there of the same variety and at a scrap price.
Cellular. There are three GSM providers in Prague, and Oskar is the most profitable for MTS subscribers. Choose it and go ahead. If you have to combine vacation with constant answering calls and calls to Russia and Prague, then I recommend that you immediately purchase an Oscar SIM card upon arrival (500 crowns, everything goes to the balance), forward your number to the purchased number, replace the SIM card in the device and talk about health. Calls to Russia will cost you 8 kroons/min, calls to Prague will cost 6 kroons/min, and MTS will charge you 40 rubles/min for forwarded incoming calls. All incoming calls in the Czech Republic are free. There are a lot of sales offices throughout the city, one is located in the center right on Wenceslas Square.
Transport. All urban transport in Prague (tram, bus and metro) has a common form of payment and costs 12 crowns per hour. Those. I bought one ticket when landing, put down the landing time in the composter and you can drive for an hour, making any number of transfers from transport to transport. There is also a ticket for 8 crowns for 15 minutes. ride, but without the right to transfer and only 4 stations when traveling by metro. Children under 15 years old tickets are sold for 6 and 4 crowns respectively. For those who travel for at least 7 days, I recommend buying a 7-day pass for 250 kroons and forget about the issue of paying the fare. You still travel no less. The metro is open until 24:00, trams run all night, but not all and with a long interval. At each stop there is a timetable (which is observed to the minute). By taxi at night for 300-500 kroons they will take you anywhere in Prague. The plan of Prague with the routes of all urban transport, as a rule, is given free of charge at the hotel.
Beer restaurants. There are just too many of these establishments. I would definitely recommend visiting at least two of my favorites. In both cases, it's best to call and book a table in advance, as demand outstrips supply. Your order will be perfectly accepted in Russian.
“PIVOVARSKY DUM” (Pivovarsky Dom) – Pavlova metro station, corner of Jecna and Lipova 15, tel. champagne. The latter are worth a try, but drink a lot…. For an amateur.
