We rested in this hotel from 28/10/2018 to 3/11/2018. An excellent hotel, Russian-speaking staff at the reception, they will always help and prompt, they give a free map of the city and the metro. They also cooperate with a travel agency from which you can take excursions in Russian, the prices for excursions are the same as everywhere else, even some are one euro cheaper, plus the fact that they take you on an excursion from the hotel, it is very profitable for budget tourists. … More ▾ We rested in this hotel from 28/10/2018 to 3/11/2018. They also cooperate with a travel agency from which you can take excursions in Russian, the prices for excursions are the same as everywhere else, even some are one euro cheaper, plus the fact that they take you on an excursion from the hotel, it is very profitable for budget tourists. Also at the reception, if you need it, you can take an unlimited travel card, you pay 50 kroons per day for its use, it is very cheap, because if you buy separately for a day, unlimited travel costs 100 kroons. You leave a deposit for the ticket, you can in rubles, they took 1000 rubles from us, which we then gave back after we returned the tickets. Also at the reception without a commission, you can change euros for crowns, and buy souvenirs, in the form of magnets or mugs with a view of Prague, they are cheaper than in the center. Our room was very large, the bathroom in the room, of course, the situation is not chic, but everything is clean, cleaned every day, what else do you need. Of course, I repeat once again, the atmosphere is not chic, the TV is old, it shows one Russian channel, the first, but you come to Prague not to sit in the room and not watch TV, to spend the night and have breakfast very excellent. The breakfasts are good, sausages, sausages, cheese, three types of salads, boiled eggs, muesli - three types, butter, sweet buns - three types, sauces, coffee, tea, juices, even orange slices were, in general, you will not stay hungry. The hotel is located far from the center, but the ride is not so long, 20-30 minutes at most. First you take bus 136 to the metro, then take the metro to the center, nothing difficult, but a sleeping area, not noisy. Nearby there are shops where you can buy cheap water, food, alcohol.

Of course, one of the cheapest hotels in Prague, located far, far from the center in a residential area. The first thing that made an impression upon inspection in the info tour was the smell of a scoop, which literally hit the nose. The first thing that made an impression upon inspection in the info tour was the smell of a scoop, which literally hit the nose. Echoes of socialism also surround the hotel: the entire microdistrict creates the atmosphere of a journey into the not-so-distant past. In principle, there are "vecherka" (a convenience store) nearby and even some kind of retro pizzeria, so it's really "a ride with beer. " In fact, I am not entirely satisfied with the positioning of such hotels as "for poor students": you will spend money on "rides" (travel cards), you will lose a lot of paid time for transport...
Shabby houses with battered rugs have one indisputable advantage - cleanliness. A sort of soviet again: washed to holes with bleach (boiled? ) sheets, "dacha" curtains.
In a European hotel, I pay attention primarily to two details - cleanliness and remoteness from the center. Thus, I would recommend this hotel to my tourists only as a last resort, because you need to be ready for the "time machine".

Indeed, if you choose this hotel, you will not regret it. Of course, after the bright hotels in Egypt and Turkey, "Jasmine" seemed to us unpretentious and very much Soviet. Our first days of stay in the Czech Republic turned out to be cold and rainy: +15 - 17 degrees (although it was the month of July), so the room was quite cool and humid (again, very unusual for beach lovers). … More ▾ Indeed, if you choose this hotel, you will not regret it. Otherwise, everything was very good. There was always hot water in the shower. Decent breakfast, clean linen, friendly and polite staff. And most importantly (which makes this hotel probably one of the best in its price category) is its location. The bus stop is 50 meters from the hotel: the buses run indecently exactly, so you can easily get to the Flora metro station, and then wherever your darling wants. We went in the summer (holiday season), perhaps that's why we didn't get stuck in traffic jams, or it's possible that we didn't leave so early (about 9-10 o'clock) and arrived late. In general, this is an ideal option for those who want to enjoy the sights of Prague, and only come to the hotel to spend the night (here you come as if visiting your grandmother).

We arrived in Prague a day later than planned. We went to the hotel by car, so there were no problems. Arrived and settled in 5 minutes. I don't want to write no +, no -. . . everyone understands what to expect for the money it's worth. the room is small, it has a bed, a bedside table, a small table, 2 armchairs and a TV. … More ▾ We arrived in Prague a day later than planned. the bed is quite decent, the bed linen is white (really white, and not just as planned). San knot is absolutely Soviet. the soap was small (like on a train). everything is ugly but clean. in general, does not cause disgust.
I want to warn you right away that you need to deal with transport in order to get to the hotel. because for the 1st time after the walk, we walked from the metro to it for 2.5 hours... and there, in fact, 30 minutes of walking.
So. . . art. metro Invalidovna or Palmovka (it is closer). further you need to remember that the hotel is located on Sklonen street. at any stop there is a map of the metro / buses / trams... and from the station. metro see what goes there (unfortunately I don't remember anymore). I remember that we went first by tram, and then by bus. a total of 10-15 minutes.
Summary: a great option for those who go for a walk and plan to only sleep in the hotel. the review came out a little gloomy... I am very pleased that we chose this particular hotel. paid little, lived in decent conditions. I highly recommend it to those who need it.
