Приятный отпуск... Pleasant vacation...

A friend invited me to celebrate the N-anniversary in Prague. Decided to go for Catholic Christmas. The hotel was selected on the basis of price-quality-remoteness from the center. The latter was selected due to the fact that everyone scared us of Czech public transport (for our trips as a hare, see the travel reviews). The hotel was not just good, but simply magnificent. Located in a very quiet area, not far from the largest Stromovka park in Prague. The historic center is 20 minutes walk or 4 tram stops. Trams run every 5-10 minutes strictly according to the schedule. Only they are not cheap (about 34 rubles). The rooms are decent enough, shower, TV (although the channels are only Czech). Rooms were cleaned every day. I read in one review that they steal their numbers - NOT TRUE !! ! Don't show off your wallet and no one will touch you. In some articles about the hotel they write that there is a swimming pool and a sauna. There are none in the hotel itself. But in the house opposite there is a sauna and a swimming pool. Price - 3 kopecks, even if you take beer there. The hotel has very good breakfasts. Several types of slicing sausages, meats and cheeses. All kinds of jams, oils, melted triangles, pate. Yogurt every day. Tea (flavors to choose from, in any quantity), coffee, juice, milk. In general, no one died of hunger. The hotel staff is very aunty and one pleasant middle-aged, but wildly handsome man. Always welcoming and kind. Everyone speaks Russian. The only drawback of the hotel is its restaurant. In the Czech Republic, very tasty food EVERYWHERE!! ! Just not in the restaurant of this hotel!! ! Don't even risk it. There is a very nice cafe a stone's throw away (there are a lot of them on every corner). Everywhere you can eat VERY cheap and satisfying. In general, we did not regret that we took a hotel 50 euros cheaper, but not in the center (it's noisy there). Highly recommend.
