Yes, the furniture is a little old and the rooms are "very retro", but they are all comfortable and functional. The rooms are warm, sometimes it was even hot, so that they opened the windows wide open; Good shower, good water pressure.
Delicious breakfasts. About food, I would like to add that our company - three families (tourists are far from beginners and quite spoiled by good hotels) were all satisfied, the assortment is small, but everything is of high quality, fresh and tasty. I liked it very much. Thank you, Olga". Prague is gorgeous and the hotel did not disappoint!! !

Moreover, the trams run strictly according to the schedule with an interval of 5-7 minutes. The hotel is small for 26 people, we lived on the 3rd floor, there is an elevator, but we walked, the windows overlooked the street. The street is quiet, and in general the area is quiet, one might say sleeping. Near the park with Singing Fountains and close to the zoo. Our room was number 15, small, the furniture is old, but not broken, clean. They cleaned every day, towels were changed every other day. We were practically not in the room at 8.00, we left and came back at 22.00. The weather was comfortable, so the room was neither hot nor cold, that's it. Wi-fi caught on 5 throughout the hotel, the owners are smiling, answered all questions, hospitable. Breakfasts are normal (sausage 2 types, cheese, bread, butter, pastries 3-4 types, there was somehow mashed potatoes and fried sausages, tea, coffee) we were not hungry. We rented a hairdryer and iron from them. Somehow in the room the outlet burned out, they fixed it during the day. I liked the hotel. True, we were the first time in Europe. If you are not a hypocrite and love traveling and are not going to sit in the room all day, then the hotel is Normal.

This is the worst hotel I have seen) I don’t advise anyone to stay there . . The situation is terrible, the walls are almost paper, I’m sorry, but you can even hear who goes to the toilet when there is no water pressure, it’s terribly cold, there is no elevator (I was alone and with It’s hard to climb the stairs with a 20 kg suitcase), the service is boorish (I lived in a single room in which there were two beds, I left for 3 days and my things that were on the second bed are on the floor of the bed, there’s no bed, I go to complain to the reception immediately, they don’t understand anything, nor for what does not answer . … More ▾ This is the worst hotel I have seen) I don’t advise anyone to stay there . . Fu fu fu in general . . Yes, the price of course is not big, well, not to the same extent... In general, only the Hotel spoiled the impression on vacation! And by the way, as it is written on the site in the description: there is no air-conditioning safe! I saved my opinion from this hotel, I'm glad!

If, for example, Olshanka is a large hotel, then Olga is quite cozy and family-friendly. To the center - 7 minutes by tram or 20 minutes on foot. Stop 3 minutes. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff speaks Russian, but I still tried to communicate in English. The area is also quite quiet. In general, I liked everything very much, the only remark is that in winter the rooms are quite cool. Although, perhaps, this is not only a problem of this hotel, since friends were in Olshanka and the same thing happened there. I plan to go to Prague again in the spring and will choose this hotel

We just arrived from Prague, I chose a hotel in a travel agency myself, the criteria for choosing a hotel: price, proximity to the center and more or less decent room furnishings. I looked through 5 hotels at the price of Olga, none of them suited me. We settled on it. A friendly Russian-speaking girl met us at the reception, immediately offered us a room, although the number is not very 13, but we did not argue. … More ▾ We just arrived from Prague, I chose a hotel in a travel agency myself, the criteria for choosing a hotel: price, proximity to the center and more or less decent room furnishings. I looked through 5 hotels at the price of Olga, none of them suited me. We settled on it. A friendly Russian-speaking girl met us at the reception, immediately offered us a room, although the number is not very 13, but we did not argue. The room is quite spacious, one-room, the room has a separate bathroom. There is no hair dryer. There is also no safe in the room. Take a bathrobe and slippers with you. Everything is simple, Soviet-era furniture, no bells and whistles, but you don’t need them, there is something to see in Prague, and you almost only spend the night in a hotel. Room cleaning daily. TV in Czech, I was a little worried, not before. Wi-fi in the room for some reason was not caught, the network was in search, there was no time to go to find out why there was no Internet. You can smoke out the window, there is an ashtray in the room. Breakfast: processed cheese, several cuts of sausages, margarine, butter, honey, soup was several times, sausages like that, and buns with fillings and sesame seeds, coffee-tea, tangerine apples. Didn't leave hungry after breakfast. . On field trips in the morning they were given dry rations to take with them, but we must remind them of this in the evening. On the last day of our stay, we even found the restaurant menu of the hotel in the room, but it was no longer possible to go. I think for Prague (economy option) Olga is an excellent choice, a solid three. Walk 7 minutes to the tram and 7 minutes drive to the meeting point with the guide 4 tram stops. For 7 days of stay, nothing really infuriated. Near the hotel there are many beer cafes, singing fountains, in general, it's normal. I advise.

The hotel is not for those who travel on business or to see Prague . . If you need a "rest", and the symbol of vacation for you is the all-inclusive system in Turkey, then it's better to take 1 boarding house, apartments or 5 stars in Prague. "Olga" is not far from the center, the staff is Russian-speaking, but it would be nice for our fellow citizens to learn "good days" and "dikuy" in Czech. … More ▾ The hotel is not for those who travel on business or to see Prague . . "Olga" is not far from the center, the staff is Russian-speaking, but it would be nice for our fellow citizens to learn "good days" and "dikuy" in Czech. Breakfast is quite decent: sausages, ham, cheese, butter, jam, bread, pastries, hot, juice, coffee, tea, milk, cereal; a couple of times they gave watermelon, eggs, apples... and for someone this is not enough? cleaning every day, clean. This is a very inexpensive hotel, and therefore modest, it is perfect for people who would rather spend their money on a bus trip to Dresden, theaters and museums in Prague, and other cultural events than on a modernly furnished hotel with daily change of linen and chic breakfasts. It's funny that those who complain about the Olga Hotel, obviously, have not seen anything in their lives and are obviously very poor people . . In general, it all depends on your plans for Prague. Of course, this is not an option for a honeymoon, but in order to see the city and the country it is quite suitable.

Cons - floors 7, the elevator runs between floors max between the 4th and 5th; through the doors nothing is visible but everything is heard; TV - 6 channels in Czech; the radio could not get the sounds; the view from the window is the house opposite; the heated towel rail is cold and it is time to change the faucet boxes in the mixer; for 6 towels 1 hook and other unpleasant little things that, if desired, can be easily eliminated, but apparently the administration has no desire. … More ▾ Cons - floors 7, the elevator runs between floors max between the 4th and 5th; through the doors nothing is visible but everything is heard; TV - 6 channels in Czech; the radio could not get the sounds; the view from the window is the house opposite; the heated towel rail is cold and it is time to change the faucet boxes in the mixer; for 6 towels 1 hook and other unpleasant little things that, if desired, can be easily eliminated, but apparently the administration has no desire. The main plus is the location: the parks are nearby, the metro is 10 minutes on foot, the Florence bus station is 25-30 minutes or 1 stop. metro, railway station 40-45 minutes or 2 stops of the metro (there is also a station near the metro to it 15 minutes). So the hotel is quite suitable as a base for outings of wild tourists throughout the Czech Republic (and beyond).

If it's not allowed in the room, is there a smoking area at the reception? And in general, when you walk the streets, can you smoke freely? Thanks.
