Many here write that the owners are Russian-speaking and this is good, so get ready to hear from these same owners every day HOW lucky you are that you ended up in a hotel where Russians are in charge of everything with a tone like "now you owe us everything"! I don’t want to seem rude and picky, I’m a normal, undemanding tourist, I’ve been to Europe more than once and I always get by with little. I know what a 3* hotel is and what to expect from it in Europe. But to endure when they yell at you, they are rude to the sky and brazenly lie, and not tourists, but hotel workers, no one will like it. I ADVISE EVERYONE WHO CONSIDERS THIS HOTEL AS A STOP IN PRAGUE - DO NOT COME TO EDWIN, you will regret it all the time. And for those who are skeptical or mockingly reading this review of mine, I will tell you what to expect.
The hotel is run by three men, there are no women there at all, with all the consequences... UNCOMFORTABLE AND COLD...
Vasily - the owner - is an old co. . l, for him a tourist is just a bag of money. If you don't tell me right off the bat how lucky you are with the hotel, which you probably wouldn't think, I promise you, you'll be his sworn enemy. If you want to find a common language with him - frank flattery and reverence... So, this same Vasily, when asked why it is cold in the room, answered that heating in the Czech Republic is provided only in October, and do not expect heat before. FALSE. Hotel Edwin is located in the private sector, where each house has its own boiler room in the basement and you can have heat at any time of the year. Surprisingly, when not Vasily, but one of the other two caretakers was on duty, the batteries were hot. It's disgusting when Vasily appeared - the warmth disappeared. So they lived - two days warm, one cold.

In addition to Vasily, there is also Nikolai - a silent, autistic young man, if you are extremely polite, he will be treated normally, as soon as there are any requests and claims, you will immediately stumble upon cold silence and contempt. The most sincere, perhaps, is Pavel, the son of Vasily, who, apparently because of awe of his father, sits and is silent in a rag. The truth fulfills the request and does not yell.
BREAKFAST is a separate issue. For breakfast you will get: muesli with milk, 2 types of sliced sausages, melted cheese slices, bread, tea, coffee, sometimes waffles, liver pate, cold meatloaf. This is all! Hot is not and never is. About vegetables and fruits, I generally keep quiet. When asked by Vasily about the scarcity of breakfast, he began to say in an elevated tone that this is a 3 * hotel, what do you want, be content that there is generally hot tea and coffee...
Hairdryer - one for the whole hotel, you need to take it in the evening, otherwise you may not have time.
There is no map of the city, a booklet about the cultural events of the city in the near future. To which they again answer that they are not obliged to give all this to tourists, they say, buy it yourself, etc.
In general, the hotel left a negative impression, although I read a lot of positive reviews about it on the Internet. I was waiting for a cozy little hotel with Russian owners, but I got eternally cold rooms, a bad breakfast, and owners who, it seems, hate you in absentia.
By the way, the hotel does not even have a sign, only a printed piece of paper with the word EDWIN and attached to the window. There is also no reception as such.
Draw your own conclusions. . . I don't want to dissuade optimistic Russian tourists. But then after the rest, do not remember my review and do not think: “She was right... ”
If you have the opportunity to choose another hotel - choose. do not regret
