They met me as a long-awaited guest, friendly, after a long flight they provided breakfast. While I was having breakfast, they prepared the room. The room is no frills, but clean and comfortable. The location of the guesthouse is fabulous, quiet area, park area. A lot of greenery, after active excursions and walks around the most beautiful Prague, in the boarding house you relax both in body and soul. Special thanks to the owners of the hotel.

It didn't take long to choose a hotel for our trip with my husband. Almost immediately, I chose Edwin. Inexpensive, close to the metro, the owners are Russian. I began to look for reviews about the hotel - most of them are positive, but I also got sooooo negative. I don’t know why myself, but to believe in this dirt, which was poured over the service and the owners of the hotel, my brain refused : )) And as it turned out, he was right). … More ▾ It didn't take long to choose a hotel for our trip with my husband. I don’t know why myself, but to believe in this dirt, which was poured over the service and the owners of the hotel, my brain refused : )) And as it turned out, he was right). We were brought from the airport already in the first hour of the night, while Peter (one of the owners of the hotel) greeted us kindly, escorted us to the room, answered all our questions. (I mean, someone wrote in the reviews that they were met by a sleepy, disheveled rude man, etc.... ) Speaking of breakfasts. Every day, different dishes were served for breakfast, while there were always sausage and cheese cuts, cereals with milk on the table. In the morning, Peter gave us a map, how to get from the hotel to the metro, went out with us and explained everything again where to go, where to turn, etc. . By the way, the hotel staff - whether it's Peter, Vasily or Natalia - never refused to answer our, sometimes even stupid questions, they even suggested where to go, how long the trip would take, what kind of food, what beer and where to try) In general We were satisfied with the trip and stay at the hotel!

So-so. Not bad on the outside, inside too. A separate issue is the owners, they are the staff. Roughness in circulation slips. In general, there was an impression that they were having some kind of civil strife, but what does the visitors have to do with it. I did not feel comfort and warmth. This business requires a different approach to dealing with people. … More ▾ So-so. Not bad on the outside, inside too. A separate issue is the owners, they are the staff. This business requires a different approach to dealing with people. First of all, this is attention and aspirations to visitors, and one should not transfer one's problems to them. I personally didn't like it.

Before leaving, read the reviews, so contradictory that it seemed left about different hotels. As time passes after the trip, we can draw a final conclusion - we did not regret our choice. Yes, breakfasts without delicacies, for those who like to fill their pockets with sausages for the week ahead, they won’t work, we had enough of them to our head, we didn’t plan to eat up a day or two before due to breakfast (I wanted to savor Czech cuisine and beer, so we ate like at home - and they didn’t deny themselves anything). … More ▾ Before leaving, read the reviews, so contradictory that it seemed left about different hotels. The rooms were regularly cleaned - they did not count how many times, again, there was something to do, except to count the number of cleanings - at least it was always clean when we returned from the "tour" of Prague in the evening. Perhaps those who sit in a room with rare races around the city noticed something - we had a different schedule. Bed linen is good, not silk, but better than in other "foreign countries", yes pillows - I agree, sometimes I looked for it at night)))) that would put such a thing under my ear, they will be too small. Once in the bathtub, the holder under the towel almost fell off. But that's all the shortcomings. But the presence of a balcony, Wi-Fi is good enough for surfing, all the amenities in the room, cozy, Russian-speaking hosts, from whom you can always get a clear and detailed consultation on any issues of your stay in the Czech Republic - this is a big plus. Thanks to the hotel staff, good luck in business!

The hotel is wonderful, the owners for beginners are just a godsend - they will help you get comfortable in a new, unfamiliar environment, give any advice from "life experience", which you will not get from "absolute natives". We liked it very much, clean rooms, good service. Breakfasts without frills, but their language does not dare to call them poor. … More ▾ The hotel is wonderful, the owners for beginners are just a godsend - they will help you get comfortable in a new, unfamiliar environment, give any advice from "life experience", which you will not get from "absolute natives". For example, a towel rack in the bathroom, or the presence of an opener in the room. For the rest - everything is fine. I recommend!

Firstly, on the Right Bank people walk until very late at night. And this, by the way, is correct - at night Prague is even more beautiful and mysterious than during the day. So, there are really a lot of people at the Old Town, and of course they make noise (the point is precisely in their number).
Secondly, only those who like to wander alone along the deserted streets, lit by the soft orange light of lanterns, should settle on the Left Bank of the beautiful Vltava River. Well, of course, there is the Prague Castle with the magnificent Gothic St. Vitus Cathedral and other temples and museums, etc. And, yes, even Nerudova and Mostek, but still you can get around all the sights there in two days.
From all this we conclude that it is necessary to settle, for example, in Prague-4. It is in this green area that Pension Edvin is located.
When we saw this hotel, we fell in love with it immediately. Pleasant exterior and cozy interior, abundance of plants around, a park opposite and of course a staircase among cypress trees leading to Budejovicka metro station. In this place you can relax from the Prague busy life and feel peace. The hotel has very hospitable and helpful hosts, delicious breakfasts, after all, there is a terrace!
Only one but. If you are a person pampered by Egyptian and Turkish all inclusive, then it is better not to stay at Pension Edvin. Better not go to Prague at all! It is pointless to spend all your free time in a hotel and suffer for no one knows what. In this city, you have to walk (well, or run: D), ride trams, climb the observation tower, St. Vitus Cathedral and walk, walk, walk again with eyes wide open with admiration.
It is for such people that such an amazing place as Pension Edvin was created. We were simply delighted with its atmosphere, rooms, furnishings... You can’t explain it in words!
THIS IS JUST A GREAT PLACE, DONT LOOK FOR BETTER THIS HOTEL - YOU WILL NOT FIND ANYWHERE IN PRAGUE!!!
In general, if there is Heaven on Earth, then this is Prague.
And if there is Paradise in Paradise, then this is Pension Edvin. . . : )))
Like this. We wish you a pleasant trip and do not make a mistake with the choice of a hotel!!!; )

I liked everything: a quiet, green area, friendly, working staff, food, beautiful, comfortable. In general, who does not pursue luxury and gluttony, then these are exactly those solid 3 stars. This is especially true for those who do not speak English, our Russian people (staff are completely Russian people) will help you deal with all the problems that you have during your trip. … More ▾ I liked everything: a quiet, green area, friendly, working staff, food, beautiful, comfortable. The rooms are newly renovated and clean. Cleaning was done regularly. The food is all delicious, in Europe I have not yet tried something inedible. The location is far from the center, but you can consider and observe the life of the country not from the side of the traveler. Everything you need is nearby. There are shops and fast foods at the metro station. Also, you need to consider the price-quality ratio. Well, that's enough. The rest come and see). Maybe I'm not as whimsical as some, but I did not notice any shortcomings. For comparison, if anyone has been to three-star hotels in Egypt or Turkey, he will tell you what bad service and attitude are.

Thanks to Vasily and Peter.
