Villa Grebovka was built by F. Havel in 1871-1888 in neo-Renaissance style. The villa is located in the Havlicky Gardens and has a terrace on the lower level with a two-flight staircase overlooking the vineyard. From 1902 to 1905, the granddaughter of Franz Joseph I, Elisabeth of Habsburg, lived here with her husband. Since 1906, the villa has been turned into a city park. For a long time the villa served as an educational institution for a forestry school, then as a children's hotel. Now the villa belongs to the organization CEELI Institute, which hosts various conferences and trainings dedicated to the protection of human rights, the support of democratic mechanisms and the promotion of the rule of law.More →

Here is the headquarters of the American Bar Association Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative (American Bar Association Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative (CEELI) - a non-governmental American organization working to implement legal standards in developing countries.
The villa hosts trainings for various groups of law enforcement officers from the countries of the former socialist camp, mainly. This is where the participants live.
I didn’t find any Russian-language reviews about the living conditions at the villa, so I decided to write a few lines - suddenly it will come in handy for someone.
So: the villa is located in a park area, almost in the center of Prague. To Wenceslas Square - 2 stop. subway, to the subway - on foot. Travelers (tickets) are not sold at the reception. There are many townspeople with children on the territory during the day, there is a playground, a cafe, and many paths and benches.
Standard rooms are spartan simple: a bed, a bedside table, a small table, an armchair. There is no TV, but there is high-speed Internet. There is a large closet in the hallway. The bathroom is spacious and even luxurious compared to the room. Good quality shampoo, gel and body lotion.
Hairdryer, iron, ironing board (free of charge) will be brought to you upon request.
Breakfast is standard and normal.
