The audibility between the rooms is excellent. they brag about their pastries, it’s not worth it to show off. The transport interchange is good, the center is nearby, shops too, but walk to the bus stop for about 10 minutes, after you are there you want something closer), if you are planning a trip with a baby, think about it. So in general you can live, clean, comfortable, value for money! ) And there is also an excellent brewery nearby, which will brighten up the leisure of beer lovers!

To the subway IP-Pavlova 5-7 minutes leisurely walk.
And m. IP-Pavlova is an excellent transport hub: tram 22 goes straight to Prague Castle (and also passes the stop UEZD, where the funicular is).

The Museum (and Wenceslas Square, respectively) can also be reached fairly quickly on foot.
But still, although it is only 500-600 meters from the metro to the hotel - with heavy things (or after a long journey) it is better to take a taxi to the hotel right away, and not go by metro.
Especially if you walk in the heat.
Although the hotel is near the metro, but there is no transport on the street (from the metro to the hotel).

So, for example, from the hotel to the Bus Station (m. Florence) can be reached for 200 kroons (if you catch a taxi on the street).
At a rate of 24 crowns per euro, this is ~ 8.5 euros.
(you can pay in euros, but they want 10 euros in euros. That is, it comes out more expensive in euros).
But from the Bus Station to the hotel, they will probably ask for more (250-300 kroons). But in principle, there is a direct metro line - 3 stations in total.
From the IP-Pavlova metro station itself (although it is 600 meters from the hotel), taxi drivers ask for 4-5 euros.
Leaving, we caught a taxi near the hotel during the day (just the first one we met) to Florence - we paid 200 kroons.

The standard double room has air conditioning, which is great, because we were in the second half of August and in Prague it was +37 in the sun (! ). It's just the tropics.
It would be impossible to stay there without air conditioning.

Breakfasts are excellent and until 11-00 ALL DAYS OF THE WEEK (and not until 10, as often happens)
The design of the hotel is nice.
The room has a kettle and cups.
It is better to have your own tea, because although there are tea bags in the room, they have a rather good price - 2 euros / bag.
A piece of paper describing that tea has a price, and not complimentary (free) in the room, was "carefully" hidden under a tray with a teapot. I stumbled upon it by a lucky chance BEFORE using tea))).

In other aspects of the stay, the hotel was not noticed in any other unreliable acts))))
In the closet there is a large safe (breaks a full-fledged laptop).
An LCD TV with 2-3 Russian channels hangs on the wall (they don’t cause much optimism, but suddenly someone wants to get their usual daily portion of depression even on vacation : )

On the table is an electronic clock with an alarm clock and a temperature indicator inside the room and outside (which was very handy).
We also had a balcony (the window to the courtyard is quiet, however we asked for a quiet room in advance at booking).

The bathroom is quite spacious with a large shower.
There is a bidet and hairdryer. Everything is clean and pleasant.
Receptionist is friendly.

The room also had free wifi.
Fast enough to use skype.

Price quality
.............
The hotel is generally very good.
True, on booking. com it costs some insane money.
But we liked the reviews.
Therefore, we first booked (much cheaper specifically in this case) through hotelсlub. com
There, the money is immediately debited and a voucher is sent.
We checked into the hotel on Saturday.
For some reason, Sat-Sunday, Sunday-Mon cost 55 euros a night.
(Apparently, on weekends, as often happens in Europe, it is cheaper).
But Mon-Tue the hotel cost already 68 euros / night.
Since we were looking for a hotel for three days, the search engine gave us the price per night for an average of 3 days.
It turned out to be 59 kopecks euro / night (double with breakfast).
And we took it for three days at a total price of 178 euros.
The money was immediately deducted from the card and sent a voucher to the email.

We liked everything in the hotel and then we decided to stay for another 2 days. But for 68 euros it was a little expensive.
And then we found the same hotel through another Hotel booking system. info for only 50 euros per day (on the same terms - standard double with breakfast! )
For 50 euros - it was generally wonderful!
You will see - do not hesitate to take this hotel at this price!
He's worth it!

The only note. 50 euros - it was an inflexible fare (meaning no cancellation possible). And in this case, these were not vouchers, but simply a reservation.
i. e.
for these 2 days of stay, the money was not immediately debited, but had to be paid directly at the hotel.

I don't remember exactly if the hotel asked to show them the voucher (and in the second case, the booking). But I definitely didn’t print anything on paper (because I don’t carry a printer with me))))
From booking systems I received emails with booking confirmations (and a voucher). And it seems that I just sent these things to the hotel by email to the reception address that they gave me. This is a normal practice and I have come across it in other countries (for example, in Tallinn).
There is free wifi in the room.
Frisky, Skype (audio) pulls - good.

By the way, about the price.
Air conditioning was essential for us.
At that moment, for 60 euros, of course, there were still many good hotels to be found. But almost all were without air conditioning (even for this price! ). Either in the center without air conditioning, or with air conditioning, but far from the center.
But to be so close to the city center, next to the metro, with air conditioning, with an excellent room, with wifi, with a good breakfast, quiet, so that everything would please - it was a real find!

Even when we first booked, we were alarmed by the name of the hotel. Of course, we read reviews on it on various booking platforms and on the Internet, looked at the pictures.
Everything seemed to be ok. But the name still seemed somehow frivolous for a good hotel.
But at the end of our stay, we were not only pleasantly surprised, but simply extremely pleased with our choice!
And there was something to compare with.
We have previously visited 3-4 star hotels in Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw, Wroclaw.
I can say that this hotel is one of the best for a trip to Prague!

You can, of course, just take some Ibis "to sleep" (it is also nearby). But we lived in an Ibis in Warsaw (I wrote a review about it).
It's better to pay the extra 10-15 euros and live in a beautiful room than in this student ibis.

...............................
More about the hotel and "about food")))
...............................
At the reception there are 2 monitors with the Internet.
There is a patio with a mini-garden, where Wi-Fi finishes.
At the reception they give you a map of the city.

Breakfast is excellent! Sorry no kasha. And so - all you need:
and cuts of sausage-cheese and fruits and dried fruits. And sausages, cereal, different types of bread.
Well, etc.
And good design dishes. I posted some pics here, take a look.

And most importantly - breakfast until 11-00 all days (not only on weekends)! At least you can sleep well after night walks (due to the heat, you had to walk in the evenings and at night)

There are McDonald's and KFC near the IP Pavlova metro station (air conditioning is excellent only in KFC)
And there is also a pizzeria.
It looks dumb - but only she works at night and the pizza is very edible.

Perhaps some minuses (which rarely happens) in the hotel I don’t even remember.

------------------------------------
Although no - there is one minus.
The fact that the blocked 20 euros per bar will now hang with me blocked for 30 days - I understood.
But who knew that they would write off ANOTHER 100 euros for the stay, and the previous (blocked) 100 euros would ALSO hang blocked for 30 days.
That is, they blocked me for a total of 120 euros for 30 days.

I wrote off the hotel and my bank.
The hotel is convinced that the amount should have been unlocked IMMEDIATELY. And even if this did not happen for some reason, then the maximum blocking period is 14 days.
Perhaps according to their euro-rules this is so (a Warsaw 4-star hotel told me the same thing).
But Moscow banks keep the amount blocked for 30 days.
And no options.
You can write to the hotel, call your bank, you can walk around and write applications - it makes no difference.
30 days will pass and the amount will automatically be returned to the card.
And not before.

T. to.
20 euros and 100 were blocked on different cards of different issuing banks (one world brand, the second is a Russian brand), then I understand that the 30-day period is not a rule of any particular bank, but in general for the Russian Federation (apparently).

I can’t say that this situation somehow strained me.
I have already encountered something similar in Warsaw, so for me this garbage was not a big surprise.

But many may ask - how to get out of this situation?
Or rather, how to avoid it?
Very simple!
If you check in not with a voucher, but with a reservation, then when you are offered to give a card, say that you would like not to block the amount, but to pay immediately in advance.
And pay for the hotel immediately (by card or cash - it doesn't matter).

And for the bar, give a deposit in cash (here there are options - they may not agree and still ask for a card).
But here it’s not such a big amount - 20 euros - it’s not so important, and anyway they will be returned sooner or later.
...
In general, blocking amounts on the card is done in many hotels.
Therefore, you just need to keep this in mind so that there are no surprises.
The hotel doesn't get any better than this.
Especially if you manage to catch such an excellent hotel for 50 euros - this is generally a gift! )))

Yesterday we returned from Prague, Prague is super, and the hotel does not pull on 4 stars at best 2. The rooms are small and do not match what they offer. The handles in the toilet are broken, the shower stinks. When we asked us to change the room, they gave us a completely different one, not the one we ordered, and when we got there after the tour, the bed was not even made, we had to do everything ourselves. … More ▾ Yesterday we returned from Prague, Prague is super, and the hotel does not pull on 4 stars at best 2. When indignant, the staff immediately pretends that they do not understand what they want from them. I do not advise you to go to this hotel you will not get what you ordered. The distance is also a hoax to the square, you have to go 15 minutes.

The hotel is not 4 star. Dirty rooms and inattentive staff. The windows overlook a very noisy and polluted street. On the morning of my check-in, I found black hair on the pillow. I didn’t make a fuss, because I came to Prague on my birthday. There is usually one person behind the counter. If he speaks on the phone, then you won’t wait for him. … More ▾ The hotel is not 4 star. Dirty rooms and inattentive staff. The windows overlook a very noisy and polluted street. A bit far... For the last 10 years I have been celebrating my birthday abroad every year - and there always are pleasant surprises from the hotel. But in Amigo I did not wait for either flowers or a souvenir.
