I went with a friend for a week in Prague. Came for Catholic Christmas. The Czech Republic these days looks just fabulous. She is very fabulous. Especially from the height of the observation tower on the clock of the Old Town Square. We were just unlucky with the weather. There was frost. Excursions from Amigo tours are sort of strange. Two days galloping through the city, and then Vienna. Very hard. And the guide was, say, not very good. Praguers have a very strange attitude towards their city (listed by UNESCO!!! ). Everywhere graffiti is not quite clean. The old generation does not like Russians (for 1968). We bought tickets for the tram, ran into rudeness. They were rude to no one, just smiled. The Czech government does not consider it necessary to change the situation. It is not good. The main advantage of the Czech Republic is very tasty beer and surprisingly cheap food. Be sure to try the boar knee and ribs. Very tasty and hearty soups. If you are traveling together, you can safely take one serving for two. Beer is delicious!! ! In the Czech Republic, the only McDonald's in the world serving beer. But with public toilets - trouble. Still need to look for them. It is better to buy clothes not in large shopping centers, but in ordinary stores. Shoes are best bought in Dresden. And cheap and good quality. A ticket from Prague costs about 50 euros. Drive a couple of hours. It is impossible to get lost in Prague, so you can safely walk around the city. Just keep the money close to the body. Change money where the guides tell you. They cheat everywhere. You can safely go with cards. Accepted everywhere. Additional products can be bought at the grocery store (thank Vietnam!!! ). Empty beer bottles can be donated. This is quite beneficial if you drink from a bottle. We went to a cafe. The prices there are cheaper than the stores. We were brought to Dresden on December 26, where nothing worked, we stood in front of boots-shoes for 15-60 euros and left with nothing. Souvenirs are fabulously expensive in both Parga and Dresden. There are some things that can be bought cheaper in Moscow. They also took us to Vienna. By itself - just SUPER!! ! The beauty is fabulous. But in Prague, be sure to visit the St. Vitus Cathedral. Only by yourself, without a guide. In Prague, everywhere you can go without problems and take pictures. In general, Prague itself is good, but I don’t want to go there anymore. . Everything except the food is expensive and the weather there is vile. And it is not true that they remove the "joys" of their favorites. There are plenty of them all over the city. So raising your head (there is only one way), do not forget to look at your legs. And don't cross the road at a red traffic light, the policeman will grow out of the ground. Fine - 700 crowns. Getting away is unrealistic. Public transport is not cheap. The guides say that it is impossible to pass by a hare. A very large fine. We bought tickets for seven days, probably six times in total, and we were never caught. Most likely luck. If you're not afraid, take a risk. Have a good trip!
