Rest in Prague from 4.01 to 10.01. 2010. The tour is organized by Yugo-Star. About everything in order. We flew in a large group, so the hotel we wanted to check in did not confirm the rooms. the manager Elena suggested this hotel to us. Initially, he did not confirm all the numbers to us, but literally during the day the issue was settled. There are almost no reviews on the Internet about the hotel. But what we read made us a little nervous. In real life, everything turned out to be exactly the opposite. The hotel is small but cozy, 5 floors with 7 rooms. Russian-speaking guys at the reception. In the room: LCD TV, DVD (home cinema in the suite), kettle, tea, coffee bags, bathrobes, slippers. And the whole basic set in the bathroom. On the table is a bottle of champagne and a couple of small chocolates, maybe in honor of the past New Year, or maybe they always meet like that. Dining room in the basement. Standard breakfast set (sausages, eggs, sausage, cheese, yoghurts, jams, juices). Without claims to exclusive, but you will not stay hungry. We arrived at 11 o'clock, we were immediately settled and fed. It's still rare. When going on excursions, you can order a breakfest box with you, come a little earlier and you will be fed anyway, or even collect a package of groceries for yourself the day before. Departure from Moscow and arrival in the Czech Republic without any problems, maybe because we flew out very early. Landing in Pardubice. Prague is almost two hours away. Not everyone was taken to hotels. According to the host, narrow streets, it is not always possible to drive up to the hotels. Some of them walked. There were many of us, we were indignant, and they brought us to the door. The hotel is near the I. P. Pavlova metro station. Collection for all excursions near the Malostranska metro station. It seems not far, but it's annoying, because you have to leave early, buy a ticket somewhere. Then come back even though we arrived from one excursion well after midnight and the subway was already closed. According to the guide Guli, drivers in such cases are not required to deliver people to hotels. Drop off at the collection point and get as you wish. Although there is a special night transport in Prague, we again strained the guide and for 50 crowns per couple we were taken to hotels. The excursions themselves were, of course, with a bang. Prague is just mesmerizing. We walked along it, despite the frost, for hours, and so probably did not fully recognize it. You can have a bite to eat in any cafe or restaurant. Prices are approximately Moscow, almost everywhere the menu is in Russian. It is better to choose restaurants with their own brewery. All dishes are designed for one, but most of them simply cannot be mastered by one. Very expensive restaurant "At Schweik's" near metro Pavlova. They say that they are a well-known brand, so their dishes are not cheap, because Hasek himself has been here. But they have a new restaurant on the Malastranska metro station, where the food, in my opinion, is even better and the price tag is real. In general, we looked and visited a lot in a week, but still there was an impression that we didn’t manage to do anything.

We took two more excursions: to Dresden and to Vienna. A trip to Dresden takes several hours, there is enough time to walk and relax in German gastets. The journey to Vienna takes 5 hours one way. The city itself also left wonderful impressions, but we were not lucky with the road. Said trip in the winter. The day of the tour coincided with the snowfall in Europe. In the afternoon we got there more or less, and when we returned back, we got to the very. . .

Europe just stood up, as was later reported in the news. We drove almost 8 hours back. So when choosing excursions, you still need to correlate with the time of year. It’s better to get to the same Vienna in the winter, even from Prague by train. And faster and more reliable, most importantly, do not forget to take your passport and insurance with you. The return trip also went without any problems. The departure was also early, but the departure from the hotel was postponed early so that due to snow drifts it was possible to be in time for the airport. We were lucky, we were notified about this in advance, but in some hotels people were pulled off for 5-10 minutes right from their beds. The bus took everyone directly from the hotels, it was probably early and the streets were not so crowded, or maybe we remembered our indignation upon arrival. Customs, passport control, duty free imitation and flight home without any problems. Although there were worries about visas. The travel agency issued them strictly according to the date of the trip from January 4 to 10. And because of the bad weather, anything could happen. I don’t know what happened with the extension of visas in case of cancellation of flights, as happened at that time almost throughout Europe. Let's just say we got really lucky.

That's the whole brief report on the trip to Prague.
