Many tourists (mostly young people) before traveling to the Czech Republic ask me how to find the scandalous "Monument to a prostitute" in Prague. This well-known masterpiece is officially called the "Shop of Vice" and, according to the sculptor's intention, should show our shamelessness. Most of the Praguers I know were sincerely outraged when this work was sculpted in bronze, especially since the author is a woman. The main outrage was the fact that the girl kneeling in front of the gambler is depicted without underwear. The monument can be treated differently, but if you are really interested in the unique sights of Prague, it is worth it to appreciate it yourself.

By the way, since we installed it in 2006, we have taken some of our tourists there (usually in summer) and have never met other tourists in such a way that if you really want to see something that few people have seen, go: Vysochanska metro station, linka "AT". Take any bus that runs along Frejova Street and K Zizkov Street until the intersection with Spojovaci. If I'm not mistaken, four stops from the metro to go (the bus stop is called "To Zizkov"). Focus on the business center at the intersection of the streets "K Zizhkov" and "Spojovatsi", at the entrance to which there is a monument.

The map can be viewed here:

By the way, the monument depicts almost a drama - while the girl is on her knees, the man is enthusiastically considering the bets of the famous bookmaker Sazka.
