Women's Day in Prague or Dreams come true on the Charles Bridge

The snow has not completely melted yet, the streets are damp and chilly, spring is in no hurry to please us with the sun and the singing of birds. At this time of the year, you usually want to go to warmer climes, to dreams of summer. But not this time. In such weather, there is a city where dreams come true in the rain under the splashes of champagne, the clock on the city hall and our cheerful laughter. This fairy tale city is PRAGUE. We decided to spend the holiday on March 8 in this beautiful city and the memories of this day will never lose their brightness and pleasant sadness.

Lviv – Dresden – Prague – Karlovy Vary – Lviv

Our journey started from Lviv. Everyone's favorite city of coffee and chocolate attracts thousands of tourists here with its cozy streets, beautiful architecture and centuries-old history. There are a lot of colorful places in the city, while being here you should definitely taste coffee in numerous cafes and climb the city hall - from there you can see a unique panorama of the city from a bird's eye view.

The first city on the way of our route was Dresden. Truly majestic buildings make a lasting impression. The river that crosses the center of the city creates a particularly beautiful scenery and such a peculiar atmosphere of ease of life when there is no need to rush anywhere. Speaking of Dresden, one cannot fail to mention the Sistine Madonna. It is here, in the Dresden Gallery, that this wonderful work of the great Italian artist Raphael lives. In general, even people who are far from art, the gallery will not leave indifferent. The canvases presented there are not only world heritage, they will make you feel beautiful, introduce you to the world of subtle feelings, emotions, events, talentedly depicted by true masters of their craft. What else attracts Dresden is shopping, a lot of shopping centers and reasonable prices, lower than in other European cities. You can not deny yourself the pleasure of shopping in memory of the wonderful Dresden.

And here we are in Prague… I can’t even find words to describe the atmosphere that reigns here – it’s unusual, fun, exciting, exciting, educational. Anyone who has ever been to Prague, I am sure, will want to come back here again. The unique combination of majestic architecture with modern sculptures creates a feeling of some kind of home comfort. You can wander around the streets of Prague for hours and constantly find something new. Prices in restaurants here are pleasantly pleasing when, after long walks, you come in to taste a pork leg and drink excellent Czech beer. Beer is a separate issue here, but that's a completely different story. The astronomical clock, the Charles Bridge, the Kafka monument, the dancing house – there are a lot of sights in Prague that you can’t get around in a week. But the most important thing is to make a wish on the Charles Bridge, the techniques of making a wish are different, we even came up with our own. An indispensable condition is to believe in the miraculous power of this city and everything will come true!

As an optional extra, we visited another gem of the Czech Republic - Karlovy Vary, a well-known medical resort of the rich and famous. A miniature colorful town with its own climate of calm and regularity, here they run away from the hustle and bustle of megacities, breathe the cleanest air and drink healing water. Be sure to bring a mug with a spout from Karlovy Vary - this is the most popular souvenir.

The journey was short. We don’t want to leave, but we took a piece of this magical place in our hearts. And we will definitely come back here.

Prague is closer than you think, traveling to Prague is a great idea to spend weekends, holidays or family dates. Prague is beautiful in any weather!
