At the end of July, my husband and I went to Prague for 8 days / 7 nights. The tour was purchased in the company "Zlata Prague"

The flight was from St. Petersburg, Czech Airlines. We checked in for the flight a day before departure on the airline's website, which is very convenient. Upon arrival, we were met at the airport (the host of ETC Travel) and very quickly taken to the hotel.

We lived in the hotel UNIC ****, we really liked it! This is a new hotel, located on a small Soukenicka street, in the city center within walking distance to the main historical and cultural attractions. From the hotel for 10 min. you can walk to the Republic Square, to the Old Town Square, in 20 minutes, with a calm step, you can get to the left bank of the Vltava. There are metro and tram stops nearby. The area is quiet and calm, there are several grocery stores nearby.

The room is very spacious (two rooms with a hall). In one room there is a spacious double bed, lockers with a large number of shelves, a telephone, bathrobes, slippers, in the other there are two small sofas, a table, a wardrobe in the hall, a safe, a minibar, a hairdryer, a kettle, tea, coffee. Each room has a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, wi-fi in the room. The bathroom has a bath and a shower, bathroom accessories, towels were changed every day, bed linen was changed several times, the number of tubes of gel and shampoo was replenished every other day. An iron can be requested at the reception. The windows of the room overlooked the courtyard of the neighboring building.

I really liked that the hotel restaurant had its own small patio where you could sit on a warm summer evening.

On the very first evening, taking a map of the city, we went for a walk, we really wanted to see the Old Town Square with its astronomical clock, Charles Bridge and just stroll through the streets of Prague.

On the second day we had a sightseeing walking tour planned. It started from the Malostranska metro station (like all our other excursions). Prague is an amazingly beautiful city, we were able to see for ourselves. During the tour, we walked along the Charles Bridge, which connects the Old Town and Malaya Strana. This is a very beautiful bridge, there are a lot of tourists here, you can see artists, musicians, souvenir stalls.

They made a wish near John of Nepomuk, putting their hands on his sculpture. It is said that all wishes made here come true.

We passed the Jewish city of Josef, where ancient synagogues, the town hall, the Jewish cemetery were preserved, visited the Old Town Square, where the famous chimes are located.

Our tour ends at Wenceslas Square.

Thank you very much to the guide Ilya for an interesting tour!

On the third day we went on an excursion to the city of Cesky Krumlov. It won us over with its beauty, it is a small medieval town that has hardly changed since the 18th century. We also visited the Krumlov castle, got acquainted with the life of the European aristocracy, heard the legends and facts of this castle. I would advise you to go to this fabulous city, its narrow streets, museums, souvenir shops will not leave anyone indifferent.

The next day we were waiting for an acquaintance with Saxon Switzerland.

The tour includes a visit to the Kö nigstein castle, the Bastei natural complex and lunch in a panoramic restaurant. Saxon Switzerland is a national park located in the south of Saxony. This park is famous for its natural landscapes. During the tour, we visited the Kö nigstein Castle (a complex of Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance buildings).

It seems to me that men will like the tour (at least my husband liked it very much). After that, we went to the rocky massif of Bastei, where unforgettable views of the pillar mountains and the Elbe will open. The tour included lunch in a panoramic restaurant. In fact, lunch takes a lot of time and less time is left for a walk in this wonderful park.

Our last excursion was a trip to Dresden. We like her a lot. Moving from Prague to Dresden is not tiring (only 2.5 hours). We walked through the historical part of the city, saw the main sights (the Zwinger palace ensemble, the opera house, the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. The sightseeing tour takes about 1.5-2 hours, then free time, we managed to visit the treasury, walk along the city streets, try German beer in a restaurant (I can't remember the name, unfortunately)

In two days free from excursions, we decided to just walk around the city, enjoy the last days in wonderful Prague, climbed the Petrin Tower, walked along the Golden Lane, went to the Cathedral of St. Vita. . .

Prague is a fabulous city that is impossible not to fall in love with. I really want to go back there again!

Oksana and Oleg
