The only thing that matched the advertisement was the location of the hotel. Accommodation at the hotel in the Delux Suite for a week, as well as all excursions with a personal guide by car, were paid at the place of residence.
We were met by a representative of the company, he is also a driver, our former compatriot, who speaks tolerably Czech.
We were settled fairly quickly, after a short conversation between our representative and the hotel manager. The manager only clarified that the room was booked with us until September 19, and we plan to leave on September 18 in the evening.
Number: enough musty air in the room, there is a built-in air conditioning system in each room. but... in the bedroom it is impossible to turn it on. because the smell from the kitchen of the restaurant immediately hits the nose. The window opened only in the large room, and in the bedroom the window handles were located outside (unusual, right? ), in addition, a narrow common balcony ran along the bedroom windows along the entire floor, so you had to keep the curtains tightly drawn. The curtains in the bedroom are beautiful, double embroidered and with a large greasy stain.
Laundry: used this service, as they did many times in hotels of this level. Everything was returned beautifully packaged. Among other things, I washed my blouse with Swarovski crystal applique, wore it for 5 years, washed it myself in a typewriter and ironed it, it was like new. But when I took it out of the package in Yekaterinburg, I was paralyzed. There was no application at all! if there weren’t 1-2 rhinestones, I wouldn’t say a word, but HOW was it necessary to wash and iron in order to peel off the ENTIRE application?
Breakfast: we paid in advance at the travel agency for accommodation with breakfast. And we were surprised that the restaurant did not have a standard coffee machine. Coffee was offered to us by the waiter, who prepared it on the coffee machine behind the bar. And at the same time put a check for coffee 1040 crowns. Imagine our condition, such a paid breakfast...... The breakfast itself was the same every day and a small choice. Fried eggs and fried sausages, as well as 2-3 varieties of cheese, plus some unripe fruit. Having ordered coffee in the restaurant in the afternoon again, we came to a state of complete misunderstanding again: now the coffee cost 108 crowns for 2 cups.
The state of a little stress was quickly smoothed out by pleasant excursions with an excellent guide and purchases of pleasant souvenirs.
The day of departure has come. At the reception, we were given a printout of the bill for the services we used: laundry, coffee in the restaurant and mini bar, as well as....the cost of breakfast. Total 13.000 crowns.
Knowledge of 10 English words was not enough to deal with the double payment for breakfast. The husband signed the check, but only the manager put the amount there already at 47.491 crowns. In a state of shock, 3 hours before departure, we waited for the driver, through whom we could ask our questions: about paying for breakfast and why, with a bill of 13.000, we were issued a check for payment for all 47.491 crowns.
The manager famously, without hesitation, explained that this was some kind of computer malfunction that forgot to put us on the list of paid breakfasts. And the bill for the amount of 47 thousand crowns explained that she simply indicated the total amount of accommodation with services.........
Our representative specified how much the manager had withdrawn from the card at the moment. She explained that at first she transferred data for 13.000 kroons to the bank, but the operation had not yet passed and she immediately returned 8.000 kroons back, and she wrote us a check for this huge amount for our information. We took all the documents and printouts, and flew home. At home, in the branch of the bank, they stuck a printout of all transactions on this card.
The manager of the 5* hotel, with the dashingness of a professional cheater, withdrew 47.491 kroons from our card, and when she realized that we would not leave this issue just like that, she returned 41.666 kroons back.
