The motel had free Wi-Fi, and the day before we received confirmation by email that we had visited the dome of the Berlin Reichstag. True, in the morning before breakfast I had to suffer to find a program that correctly displays the incoming pdf file.

Breakfast was at 7-00, at 7-45 we set off towards Berlin (116 km to Berlin, 1499 km to the sea, 7480 km to home).

There was fog outside, sometimes turning into rain.

While we were driving, we watched a documentary about Berlin.

When we arrived at Treptow Park at 9-20, the weather had already improved, the sun came out, it got warmer. We were given 20 minutes to explore the park.

Then we drove along the "East Side Gallery" - the painted remnants of the Berlin Wall, past the Reichstag, the Victory Column and at 10-25 we arrived at the zoo.

After receiving the last instructions from the guide and breaking away from the group, we went to the bus stop.

At 10-45 we boarded the 100th bus, payment to the driver at the entrance - 2.4E. We climbed to the second floor and looked around with all eyes. At 11-10 we were already on the lawn near the Reichstag. We took pictures and went to make our way to the dome. We had passports with us and smartphones with an email invitation. The invitation was, however, for a later time. The strict uncle looked at the letters on the screens of smartphones, leafed through some lists, sighed, smiled and let us through for inspection.

At 11-30 we went through security and got into the elevator and went upstairs. At the bottom they took a Russian book about the Reichstag, at the top they took a Russian booklet, a photo panorama of buildings that can be seen from the dome. Plus, we were given Russian audio guides that work depending on the location. We spent almost 50 minutes on the dome.

Having descended, we arrived at the Arc de Triomphe at 12-35.

Watched photo shoots with guys dressed up in military uniforms with flags.

Then we slowly walked south towards Potsdamerplatz and suddenly got hungry. We found a Turkish cafe and had lunch somewhere from 13-00 to 13-40, I took a sample of unfiltered Berliner beer and a chop with french fries.

At 14-05 we were already at Potsdamerplatz near the clock tower.

Walked around, go to the Sony Center, we took pictures and went to a few stores. A couple of beer cars passed by, where young people drink beer and pedal.

At 14:55 we approached the remains of the wall on Niederkirchnerstrasse and the Topography of Terror museum, we walked, looked and moved on. The balloon was there, but no one wanted to ride, we didn't go to the Trabant Museum either.

At 3-15 we were at Checkpoint Charlie.

Inspection, photo shoot and go to the Gendarmenmarkt. At 15-40 we arrive and sit in the shade on the steps of the Drama Theatre, watch someone's wedding and look at both cathedrals.

After 10 minutes we go further, on the way we go to a souvenir shop. Then, past the St. Jadwiga, past the red church Friedrichswerder,

at 4-10 pm we go out onto a large green lawn overlooking the Berlin Cathedral. First, a photo shoot, then we just sit, lie down, admire.

We'll move on in half an hour. We go towards the cathedral, there on the edge of the lawn you can see some balls on sticks. A map of Berlin is drawn on the pavement, and these balls are stuck into the map. As we were later explained, this is all about the Berlin immigrants who [achieved high results in military and political training (joke)] glorified Berlin with their achievements.

At 16-50 we approached the monument to Marx-Engels. Some foreigner asks me: “Well, the one on the left is understandable, Marx. And who's on the right? " - Friedrich Engels, I say. The surprised foreigner leaves, and at 17-00 we fall at the table of the Block House grill cafe at the corner of Spandauer Strasse and Karl Liebknecht Strasse. We sit for 40 minutes, rest, drink.

Then past St. Mary's Church and Berlin TV Tower we go shopping to the Gallery, where we scattered around the 8-storey building. Of course, one hour was not enough, but we had to return to the meeting place.

At 19-23 (according to the bus ticket) we got on the 100th bus and went to the Zoo, although at first we wanted to take the 200th bus, but, judging by the scoreboard, we had to wait another 5 minutes, but we wanted to buy it faster food for dinner. On the bus, we took all the front seats on the second floor and admired the view.

At about 20-00 we arrived at the Zoo. We went to the ULLRICH supermarket under the railway bridge, bought food, I bought two hamburgers at Burger King (I ate one, left the second for breakfast).

At 20-40 we got into our bus and drove towards Paris. Since we had a night move, at 21-25 we made a half-hour sanitary stop to prepare for a sweet dream. At 22-00 - sleep (1050 km to Paris, 1442 km to the sea, 7533 km to home).

Paid autobahns in Germany are simply gorgeous, excellent coverage, several lanes, a dividing strip, the road is fenced off from animals with a grid, and bridges across the road have been built for them, and most importantly: there is no speed limit. I had to go to sleep, but I kept looking and looking at this ideal track...
