Berlin is the capital of Germany.
We have already traveled almost all of Europe!
We traveled all the time with bus tours. This winter we had a tour of Germany. I don’t know why, but of all the cities we liked Berlin the most. Once my friend told me "Berlin either makes you fall in love with yourself immediately and forever, or both of you will need time to develop a mutual feeling: ))" In Berlin, we had only one day, a short two-hour excursion and time for lunch. So that the feeling arose, but I didn’t have time to frolic, they didn’t give it : ))
Therefore, after the trip, on reflection, we decided to go to Berlin on our own and get to know him better.
Our Mercury hotel was located in the city center on Alexander Platz.

We understood that Berlin is huge and rich in history, and what we already knew about it was not enough for us.

We agreed in advance that she would give us excursions around Berlin - in-depth and to Potsdam - an overview.
Marina is an easy conversationalist, in company with her one gets the feeling that we are old friends and we are comfortable with her. She loves cities and loves to talk about them. She showed us, in our opinion, interesting places both in Berlin and Potsdam.
I really liked the Oranienburger Strasse Synagogue and the history associated with it. Nearby is a wonderful, unlike anything else district of Khak yards with its unique architecture, and what wonderful cafes and restaurants in this cozy area. We liked it so much that we spent the next day walking and relaxing in this place, got tremendous pleasure and unforgettable impressions!
We stayed in Berlin for 3 days and 1 day in Potsdam, at the beginning we thought that this time would be a lot, but as it turned out, it was sorely lacking for us. Many of our plans had to be postponed for the next visit.
Berlin is a city that is unlike any other, diverse and friendly, which is glad to see you!
Potsdam is peaceful, not big, with beautiful palaces and parks.
The beautifully preserved old part of the city, where we walked easily and we just forgot that life was raging somewhere!
And yet Berlin is our favorite! And I will definitely write about further meetings with him.
