The best holiday in Berlin.
My girlfriends and I have long planned our trip to Berlin.
Initially, it was decided to rent an apartment in Berlin. Firstly, it is cheaper than a hotel, we are left to our own devices and much more territory!
Our plans included visiting the Pergamon Museum, shopping, going on excursions, taking a boat ride along the Spree and much, much more!
In search of information, we looked through many Internet pages. The apartment was settled relatively quickly. The apartment is located in the district of Uban station Samariter Strasse, next to Alexander Platz. The street where our house is located is beautiful, it has many small cafes whose visitors are Germans from neighboring houses!
It was a little more difficult to choose a guide. There are many guides in Berlin, but there is not enough information about them. We had to spend more than one hour before we decided. We searched for reviews of guides on various sites, in the end we chose Alnika-Reisen.
They have a lot of guides and we have good reviews about them.
We knew that shops in Berlin were closed on Sundays and public holidays.
We went around all the planned shopping centers, visited the famous KaDeVe, in general, came off.
The cultural program was left for Sunday, in addition, a trip to the opera was planned for 20:00.
We started the tour at 9:00. The plans were huge, in one day to see Berlin and see Potsdam. They have practically come true.
As agreed, we met with the guide Vera at 9:00. She said that one day was not enough for Berlin and Potsdam. But we will form an idea of the cities!
Vera turned out to be a good conversationalist and a wonderful storyteller. These living stories that she told will remain in our memory for a long time! We were pleasantly surprised by the combination of new and old in Berlin. Huge areas are occupied by parks!
I liked the quarter of St. Nicholas, where the spirit of the Middle Ages is present at every step. After passing some 600.800 meters, we ended up in another amazing place, Khak courtyards, the architecture and atmosphere of which we will remember for a long time. We saw many interesting places in the area of our street, past which we walked not a single day. Thanks to Vera, her interesting and fascinating stories, the city was changing before our eyes, gaining fullness of colors and revealing its hidden secrets to us. We were really able to see the versatility of Berlin.
Potsdam is a fairy tale, a city that pacifies and absorbs completely. His palaces seem to have come out of a fairy tale. The parks surrounding these royal palaces are interesting, different from each other and we met many animals and birds, often exotic, created from bushes and trees!
We realized that next time we need to plan more time for these cities.
