The hotel, although it stands on the Atlantic coast, but because of its location in the bay, it was a pleasure to swim. We liked the beach more than in Punta Cana, where we rested last year, because there are practically no waves and you can swim every day. This time we also chose a Riu hotel, knowing that both service and food will be at the highest level. The beach is wonderful, very long and clean throughout. There are many free sunbeds, palm trees, the sand is not white, but fine. The ocean itself is very warm and with clear water. There is a shallow entrance to the water, and deeper places, if you go to the right. Here you can stay in silence, almost alone. In those places where there are rocks and stones, you need to swim in shoes, but there is almost never anyone here. Very friendly staff. They settled us almost immediately, a room in a bungalow on the second floor overlooking the garden of palm trees. In the mornings and especially in the evenings, there is complete silence, you can’t hear music and noise, and it’s a couple of minutes to go to the beach. The room is standard, but with a large bed, and a large terrace. The bathroom is small, the bathroom is combined, but otherwise the room is very good. Rattan furniture, there is a free safe and a mini-bar, which is constantly replenished. The cleaning is good, the towels are clean, what else is needed, especially since we walked along the beach almost all the time and only spent the night in the room. They decided not to overpay for the deluxe, they just didn’t see the point in it. Entertainment in the hotel was also enough. There is no animation in Russian here, but there are enough various water sports. Yes, and a huge territory of two hotels, on which you will never get tired of walking. A lot of greenery, and just beautiful places. The food is superb. There are a lot of seafood, very tasty juices for breakfast, a large selection of cheeses for every taste. Excellent vegetables and fruits, grilled meat was great. There was also an excellent fish on the menu, fried and salted red. In addition to the main restaurant, we went to the la carte restaurant "Cachet". And of course, the Pacha disco, famous throughout the Dominican Republic, which is located a hundred meters from the hotel, is definitely worth a visit. In addition, almost every pool is full of various fast food, alcohol flows like water, rum of any age, and just wonderful cocktails in the lobby and on the beach. There are also several pools, but swimming in them is simply blasphemy when all the splendor of the ocean is nearby. Another huge plus for us was the almost complete absence of Russians in the hotel. In general, the hotel, though not new, but everything is very decent and clean. On the one hand, the rest turned out to be quiet and calm, and on the other, very cheerful and active.
