I can say that the holiday was a success. We flew from the Capital Tour, the host of the Travel Service. We must pay tribute, everything is organized very well. We flew business class with Transaero from Moscow. There are no complaints about them. At the airport (Domodedovo) there is a decent waiting room with food, drinks and literature. There are caring flight attendants on the plane who try to make passengers feel comfortable. We fed very decently, they gave out video players (fully charged) for free! They gave us j-7 juices and alcohol: ) cognac, by the way, otard was offered. Pillows and blankets in packages. Books, newspapers and magazines. Armchairs are comfortable with adjustments. Flew very wonderful both on vacation and home. At the Dominican airport, all the formalities went quickly: $10 fee, a photo upon arrival by local photographers (you can pick it up when you fly home for $8), tips for singing and dancing talents. We arrived at the hotel in 20 minutes. Placed without delay. A house by the sea, a room with a good repair, paintings, wicker furniture, a coffee maker, an ironing board, an iron, a hairdryer, a DVD player, a TV, an air conditioner, a fan. Towels are changed 2 times a day (do not forget to leave a tip) In general, no complaints.
The territory is large and well-groomed. Super beach. The only thing you need to get used to right away is that in the Dominican Republic nothing is done right away, there is the concept of a Dominican minute : ) so please be patient. I won’t write about the food, the food is plentiful and tasty. The only thing is, do not expect miracles from the fish cuisine, it is a strong three.
Separately, I will highlight the work of guides from travel service. Oleg Shvets was in our hotel. It is difficult to find a more attentive attitude towards tourists. And if I was surprised by the mention of guides in reading other people's reviews about the Dominican Republic, now I understand that without their advice and attention, the rest would not be completely "smooth".

About the weather. We went in the "off season" or in the rainy season. We saw rain 1 time 15 minutes at night, so I can’t say anything about the rainy season : ) The weather is amazing, the sea is clean, the beach is snow-white.
about household: include a tip in the expense item, be patient (Dominicans are like children), bargain benevolently - this is welcome even in some stores with fixed price tags : ) go on excursions - very beautiful nature and well-organized entertainment other) everywhere they make discs with filming excursions costs $ 35. On all sea excursions, apply protection with a factor of more than 40 (it costs 25 USD in local stores), if on the beach with normal skin it will pass 15-20, then on the water from 30 there will be no use (the guide will confirm this for you). and very carefully with air conditioners (the temperature in it is set) it is insanely cold, you can seriously catch a cold. accept that in the usual cocktails, for example, "mojito", instead of mint, a concentrate will be added. Freshly squeezed juices only in the morning, but rum all day : )
Cigars, rum and mamajuana (not to be confused with marijuana) are better to buy not on the beach, but in shops. Jewelry made of lamina and amber cost incredible money, but if you skillfully bargain, then the price tag will be ridiculous.
