The bus is quite comfortable, with air conditioning, though not new. Upon arrival at the hotel, the guide said that we could go to check-in, then have a bite to eat, and at this time our suitcases would be unloaded. We and the rest of the hotel guests did exactly as the guide recommended. Returning to the reception, where the porter was standing guarding the unloaded luggage, we did not find our suitcase. It is quite natural that the mood was immediately spoiled. The girl at the reception said that this happens to them, that perhaps the suitcase was not unloaded from the bus, but was taken with other vacationers to the next hotel along the route, and advised to call the guide on the mobile phone from their phone to the reception. To such her advice, my husband reasonably noted that this is THEIR work and THEIR fault, respectively, all calls and searches should be handled by the persons providing the service, and not by the vacationers themselves.
There was some revival at the reception, phone calls, several managers and a porter came running. 20-30 minutes of tense waiting and our suitcase was found. As it turned out, the suitcase was still unloaded where it was supposed to be, but one of the tourists, due to indiscretion (despite the tag on our suitcase ! ! ), confused it with his own and took it to his room. In the room, I realized that the suitcase could not be opened and that it was not his suitcase at all and returned it to the reception. The porter delivered the suitcase to our room.


Hotel.
On the whole the hotel is good. Large, spacious, bright rooms. The room has a huge bed, plasma TV, jacuzzi, shower, toilet, safe, built-in wardrobes, iron and ironing board, refrigerator with mini-bar (replenished every day).
Of the minuses - on the first day they found cobwebs on the lamps. Pointed it out to the cleaning lady. All subsequent days we had no complaints about cleaning.
On the last day, just before leaving, a HUGE tropical cockroach crawled out from somewhere. Prior to this, such living creatures have not been seen anywhere on the territory and in the premises of the hotel, so this may be an isolated case.

The territory of the hotel.
On the vast territory of the hotel there are many well-groomed lawns with flowers, flowering trees, palm trees and other tropical plants. Hummingbirds, butterflies, dragonflies circle above the flowers. Peacocks, flamingos, herons, geese roam the lawns and the park, fish and ducks swim in artificial reservoirs. There is a mini zoo with parrots, turtles and iguanas. There are two cafes where vacationers have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and there are also several restaurants that serve a la carte in the evenings. You need to sign up for such restaurants at the reception the day before. We visited 4 restaurants - Chopin, Sakura, El Gaucho, Pescador. They cook great! Open trailers run around the territory every 5 minutes.
Cons: from the car pulling trailers for vacationers, exhaust gases are constantly heard. As well as from cars serving restaurants and bars on the beach, and which periodically pass through the hotel.

Nutrition.

Excellent, varied and in huge quantities! I wanted to try a lot, but the limits of my own body did not allow me to eat in such quantity; ) For breakfast, they constantly prepared fresh fresh cocktails, delicious, aromatic coffee. There is always a choice of several meat dishes and several seafood dishes, a variety of tropical fruits - mangoes, papaya, pineapples, melons, watermelons, passion fruit ...A large selection of sweet pastries, different types of bread. The bars have a large selection of local alcoholic drinks, in restaurants, in addition to local drinks, one could order champagne "Madame Clicquot", "Moet & Shandon", vodka "Absolut", "Moskovskaya", Portuguese, Spanish wines.

Beach.
White, clean sand and crystal clear, azure water! Loungers in sufficient quantity. Beach towels can be changed several times a day as they get dirty/wet. At the exit from the beach there are several showers with fresh water. Toilets on the beach are clean, there is always toilet paper and disposable paper towels.

Entertainment.
New competitions every day! Well-staged programs, choreographers did their best! On the beach and by the pool, animators conduct aerobics, dance classes, not limited to the "dance of little ducklings. " Basketball, volleyball, darts on the beach. For children there is a playground with swings, a slide, children's entertainment groups. Everything is organized very well, while children's squeals or screams are not heard, so children are not at all a hindrance to those who want peace and quiet.
Both the guide attached to your service and other agents on the territory of the hotel can choose a variety of excursions - to the dolphinarium, reef diving, horseback riding, quad biking, parachuting, an excursion to a tobacco factory, to the capital of the Dominican Republic - Santa - Domingo, etc.
There is a free shuttle from the hotel to the casino. In the casino, we even managed to win a small amount, which we later spent on souvenirs and duty free.
Our family enjoyed their vacation! If you didn’t want to see other new places on the globe, then you would probably come to the Dominican Republic again; )
