Just returned from the Dominican Republic, so I hasten to share my impressions about the rest and the hotel. Stayed with my husband for 2 weeks. We bought a ticket through the TUI travel agency. The flight there was from Kyiv to Paris and then Punta Cana (tiring, but the French airlines did not let us down, everything was on the level). Arrived for almost a day. But the trip back took us 3 days. We fell into a period when the airports of Paris, Moscow, Kyiv did not work. It was fun - we rescheduled 3 flights. The French also flew. by airlines, first from Punta Cana to Paris, then flew to Moscow - but before landing, the pilot on the plane announced that Moscow (Sheremetyevo) was not accepting and we were returning to Paris !!!!
Then half a day at the airport in Paris, and then home to Kyiv. UFFFF!!! ! Guys, I strongly recommend that everyone carefully study the documents and know your rights when communicating with representatives of airlines.
Now for the hotel. It is nice, the territory is beautiful, and huge - we constantly traveled by steam locomotive. There are many vacationers, it even seemed to us that the hotel was full. 50% Canadians, many French, Spaniards. There are Russians, but 10% percent. The hotel is family-friendly, and by the way, there are many old people among vacationers. I can’t say that the hotel is 5 stars, maybe it used to be so, but now there are shortcomings. I will list just a few: the hall needs to be renovated (by the way, when we left there they began to change the furniture), the territory is a little unkempt. We were not lucky: upon arrival, it rained for 5 days and huge puddles-lakes formed right on the paths. No one cleaned up the puddles - a day later, smelly swamps had already formed there, through which we were taken on a train every day. So, no one was going to clean up the puddles, they dried up in 7 days!! ! Towels on the beach are old, sometimes dirty sunbeds. Plastic chairs and tables near the restaurant on the sea. Dishes and cutlery in the restaurant can also be updated.

Now about the room: in general, it's okay, we got a renovated one. All bungalows by the way, which are closer to the sea, have been renovated. They cleaned and changed the bed every day - there were no complaints. There were no insects, we didn’t even meet mosquitoes. Every evening a service came and carried out fumigation on the territory.
Restaurants - with confidence I put 5+ Everything is delicious, varied, service is fast. We ate mostly, only went to EL Gaucho for a la carte - I highly recommend taking an angus steak. Just try not to eat too much before going there - the portions are just huge! The most delicious drinks are prepared at the pool bar. Try pina colada, mamajuana.
I really liked the show program of the hotel - live music orchestras, dances, amazing singers!!!
The hotel resembles a nature reserve - a lot of living creatures, and it is tame. Our entertainment was feeding the peacocks with rolls after dinner. Such relaxation!!!!!
The staff is very polite, no complaints. We know English well - so there were no problems with understanding.
The hotel's beach is just huge and there is enough space for everyone. There are always waves, but you can swim. What was very annoying - local sellers are constantly walking and offering all sorts of souvenirs, excursions - there is not a moment of peace. By the way, excursions are insanely expensive - there is almost nothing less than $ 100! and it's not worth it.
As a result, I can say that the hotel is worth the money we paid. Despite the minor nuances, we had a great rest and are very pleased with the trip. We returned home healthy and tanned.
If they asked me if I would go to the Dominican Republic again - of course yes. Ocean, nature - just a fairy tale.
