The flight took 12 hours, which I devoted to sleeping and studying the carrier’s “wine list” (I strongly regretted that I decided to devote myself to the treatment of gadget addiction and left my tablet with my selection of series and the complete works of Max Frei). Arriving and going through customs, I got on the Teztur bus and we quickly got to the hotel. The hotel really turned out to be a "park hotel", we rode in an electric car to the rustle of palm leaves and the singing of exotic birds. But this “parking” has its drawbacks - prepare mosquito repellent, upon arrival my legs were badly bitten. Registration for the slow Dominican Republic was fast! I was already in the room in 15 minutes. The room turned out to be typical for the Dominican Republic - a combination of simplicity and comfort. Huge bed, spacious closet (where I immediately hung all my evening dresses (hello to Uncle Fyodor's mom ???? ), personal safe (which I decided not to use - my handbag is a much better "safe"), minibar (alas, which had only water, juices and beer, my favorite Tempranino (I'm not talking about Chablis) was not there, but later this was corrected in the restaurant). After relaxing in the bathroom, I put on a bathrobe and went out onto the terrace. The view from the balcony was wonderful - the pool, palm trees, among the branches of which fluttered hummingbirds, I realized that I would spend all my evenings here, with a cigarette and a glass of wine. . By the way, about cigarettes - I recommend buying back in Russia (I hope the customs will not perceive this as contraband) - cigarettes are shamelessly expensive here, and ladies' cigarettes are difficult to buy. Now about the cuisine - the local cuisine here has two bases - fruits and meat, and the quality and quantity of dishes are in abundance (on arrival home, I was afraid to get on the scales for a long time). In addition to the main restaurant (with local cuisine), there are several a la carte restaurants with Asian and Italian cuisine (but I was told back in Moscow that Dominican restaurateurs are not very good in these areas, Moscow restaurants are even better). There are also several bars, including on the beach. Speaking of the beach, I was very pleased with the sand (white fine sand). And in vain they frightened me with an abundance of algae - they were dealt with here quite quickly. There are plenty of sunbeds and deck chairs on the beach (so you don’t have to fight for a place). I chose a sun lounger next to the bar and in the evening the local bartender and I already became good friends (as far as my knowledge of Spanish and his English allowed), and I'm afraid after his luxurious cocktails I will no longer be able to drink others. After the beach, in a rather “high spirits”, I went to the hotel theater, to the evening program (I won’t describe it in detail, I can only say that after it my mood became even more upbeat))??? ? . I didn’t dare to travel long distances, because it was a pity for precious time anyway, but next time I’ll make up for it
