Hello! I decided to change the situation (the last project was connected with living in Norilsk for six months, and this is still stressful for me). And what could be the exact opposite of the gray and uncomfortable Norilsk, like the diversity of the Dominican Republic? The flight lasted 12 hours, which I overslept in a banal way. Upon arrival, a bus was waiting for us, which was slow (so that we could get acquainted with the beauties of the Caribbean). Upon entering the hotel, I was convinced that it was correctly called the park hotel. I would even call "jungle" - a hotel! The flora and fauna of the Caribbean was presented around in all its splendor - palm trees, fruit trees, various birds flew around, fluttered, paced - peacocks, pelicans, flamingos, small exotic birds. . . We also drove past sports grounds, courts, reservoirs of various types and forms (from artificial lakes to pools and fountains). Check-in at the hotel (as in the entire Dominican Republic) starts at 3 pm. Before check-in began, I walked around the lobby, admiring the interior, studying the schedule of local events, as well as meal schedules, and phoned the guys from Two Bananas and arranged for ocean fishing (which I will write about separately someday - guys, I don’t have more adrenaline experienced! ) Check-in was pretty quick, and I entered the room. The room is tastefully decorated. The room design palette is a mixture of white painted walls, dark wood and lilac-violet blotches (the color of the bedspreads, curtains, in the paintings there are also flowers in the same palette). The furniture is very solid, clearly not made by IKEA - everything is clearly made from local types of wood and cane. The room had everything - TV (plasma, which pleased, otherwise I heard that ancient TVs often come across), a mini bar (by the way, which is represented not only by traditional juices, water and beer, but by local rum! ), A huge closet, a mini-safe , iron, ironing board. . I took a shower in the bathroom (there was everything you needed - towels, a bathrobe, all kinds of shampoos, shower gels and something purely feminine). After I went down to the restaurant. The menu was traditional for the Dominican Republic - fruits and meat (fried, steamed, grilled, etc. , etc. )... “Having killed the worm”, I went to the beach. The beach was perfect - white fine sand, clear water, algae were present, but they were quickly removed. Stretched out on a lounger, I instantly fell asleep... When I woke up, the sun was already setting, the first tan this summer pleasantly tingled my skin, and I decided to cool off. I went into the water, expecting a hiss from a red-hot body??? ? . These 40 minutes in the water were like a zoology lesson as the coral reef featured a full range of local flora and fauna. In general, I recommend it to everyone!
