We are not supporters of looking for flaws, so we would be quite satisfied with the rest, if not for one BUT !!! , because of which we will never return to this hotel and will not recommend it to anyone. (I think for the hotel administration this is a serious reason to think). My husband had $5 stolen from his pants pocket left in the room. Yes, we all know that people love to steal in hotels, and most people do not even notice these thefts of 1-2 dollars. And we wouldn't even notice. They just put the money in their pocket on purpose so that in the evening they could split $ 1 each for a tip. When they noticed that there was no money, they reviewed everything in the room a thousand times - they suddenly fell out, forgot, etc. Somehow I didn’t want to believe that they were rummaging in our pockets in our absence in the room... We turned to the administrator Alesandra. She said in a completely calm voice that most likely we walked along the beach and spent money (in 30-degree heat in black trousers !!! ), when we insistently explained 5 times that we were not so old to forget, she reluctantly gave us to fill out some papers, where it was necessary to indicate at what time and where we went that day. On vacation, we don’t look at the clock every minute, but we still tried to remember everything to the maximum. After that, from the door of our room, they read information about who entered the room. After that, they asked what date we were leaving and said that our issue (not theft at the hotel, but OUR issue) would be considered “as soon as possible”, that is, sometime... while we were repeated 5 times that this was our problem, that we didn't put the money in the safe. We have a camera ($5.000), two laptops ($3.000), mobile phones, an iPad, Italian shoes, expensive cosmetics, and so on. So what happens, we need to store EVERYTHING in a safe? otherwise, anything can be stolen and this will be our personal problem. We asked this question to the manager and received an answer - yes, the administration is not responsible for things outside the safe. After 48 hours, we were given an official answer - only one person came into the room - the maid, but no money was found in her things, there is no evidence. She cleaned with us at about 13.00, and we turned with the theft at about 20.00. I think during this time it will not be difficult to hide a piece of paper for $ 5... As a result, this person continues to clean our room !! ! we are just shocked. no one talks about refunding us these 5 dollars, but the very fact of safety to leave all things in the room, when you are openly told that no one will be responsible for our laptops and other things... Is this a 5-star hotel? ! We travel a lot and have never seen anything like it. So it's up to you. . .

The rooms are spacious, new, the food is very good. Royal Beach guests can enjoy unlimited use of everything in the arena. There are more entertainment activities, but the food is a little worse and there is no foreign alcohol (high-end whiskey, champagne, etc. ), and we also have 24 hours free food in the room. The territory both there and there is very beautiful, I can’t say about the rooms in the arena. Cleaning is terrible - in addition to theft, there were days when the room remained until 7 pm, not cleaned, some days the used shampoos were not filled, sand remained on the floor, etc. The beach is very large, but there are a lot of algae near the water and in the water. They begin to clean them at 8 am, instead of a pleasant beach - two dozen locals and bags of garbage stand on the shore until 10 am. Pools also begin to be cleaned at 8 am, although many people want to sunbathe at this time. Watering is turned on at 8 am and it is impossible to walk through the territory without getting wet. In general, the Dominicans are a leisurely people who don’t care about everything, they are in no hurry and sometimes this causes some inconvenience. Our host TravelService, guide Natalya, talked about how cool VIP excursions are, and there are ordinary ones, but they may not gather the required number of people, you will wait a week and won’t go anywhere... I didn’t like it very much, oh well, we didn’t bother, my husband took a VIP fishing trip, where everyone was sick and vomited 10 times (there were 5 strong men), there was an incredible pitching and they didn’t catch a single fish - here you have a VIP!
