Vacation in the Dominican Republic was a success. We rested with two families with friends, with children. The hotel has 5 restaurants, the main "windoys", Japanese, Italian, sea (in the sea restaurant you can order dinner on the beach, by the ocean, by candlelight, very romantic), American and international cuisine. Paid of them Japanese, the rest can be visited on a la carte. The hotel has three 4 pools, one of which is for children, the main large pool with a bar. The hotel has its own disco, a lot of sports activities during the day, beach volleyball, aqua aerobics right in the ocean or in the pool, step aerobics by the main pool, you can play tennis. Once a week there is a disco on the beach and animation for children, of course, all this is in English and Spanish, so you should either learn the language or stock up on phrasebooks. Only one security guard at the main restaurant spoke Russian. The hotel also has a mini shopping center and in the evenings souvenir and trinket sellers sometimes come. During the rest, we visited three excursions to the Samana Peninsula (a full day excursion to the waterfall and ancient caves of the Indians), to Saona (the place where the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea merge), visited the sikvarium, this is a walk along the bottom of the ocean in a special helmet. Children were taken to Manatti Park, this is a zoo, but the trick is that for 80 bucks you can swim with dolphins there.
In the hotel, in the room, I do not recommend leaving expensive things in sight, because our friends lost expensive glasses from the room, they wrote a statement to the hotel administration, talked with the maid, but everything was useless.
