This is not the first holiday in the Dominican Republic, so there is something to compare. I really liked it, the food is excellent, the beach is divine, the water is clean. Starfish, fish, crabs and pelicans. The hotel is located on an island, a lot of greenery, like in a botanical garden. The beach is full of free space, you can take a nap in the gazebos on pillows. The rooms are clean, mosquitoes and other creatures were not seen. Lots of flowers and fruits. Linen and towels are changed daily. The staff is invisible. in the room safe and internet - free of charge. The coffee is excellent in the room with a coffee maker. In the restaurant coffee - bue. The food in the restaurant is excellent, a lot of fruits (mango, etc. ), vegetables and seafood. I personally liked the lean Dominican chicken. and fish. cakes so-so, ice cream ok. Excellent fish kebabs at the bar. The wine is completely red. A la carte restaurants are a rare r, don't waste your time. The pools are very clean and there are hummingbirds in the hibiscus bushes. There is no animation and dancing, instead of it there was a live piano and singing in Spanish. Good for cocktails. But it's boring. Have seen a lot of wedding ceremonies, which is nice. I liked it - a minivilla on the beach with a jacuzzi on the veranda. Right on the beach. There is wifi on the beach near the pool. You can take a catamaran and catch stars, but you can't take them out of the sea. sometimes the sea brings coconuts and cocoa ashore; ) Minus - the hotel is far from the airport. Three hours drive through local villages plus a boat. The overall impression is generally positive. Nature is just awesome, it is worth going to relax.
