We rested from October 16 to October 26.2012, three of us: me, mother-in-law and son 4 years old. The hotel is old, in general, not bad in terms of price-quality, suitable for unpretentious tourists, for me it is ideal for a family vacation. I will write a little about the features of the hotel. The hotel is not bad, but you need to get used to it. Settled very close to the beach (minute walk), which pleased. Room on the second floor of a small two-story building, small, the beds had to be moved close to each other to open the closet. The first day the drain in the toilet did not work, in principle, it was repaired for us after talking with the representative of the anex. We didn’t count on a super room from the very beginning, the shower refused to hang as it should, the taps are old (thank God they are working), but these are already trifles. The air conditioner worked properly. The room was cleaned every day, of course, it is useless to count on new bed linen, and the towels are also old washed out, but clean. But you need to be prepared for the fact that there will be ants in the room, and if mosquitoes do not give rest on the first floor either, so just in case you need to take repellents with you. Everyone who lived on the first floors (especially children) was badly bitten by bloodsuckers. There was no balcony in our room, but the roof itself was a large balcony, you can go out to smoke. Speaking of balconies, if the room has a balcony, then there are no other windows except for the balcony door in the room, the same with rooms with terraces in two-story houses. I don't know about the main building. The service staff is polite and pays a lot of attention to children, but unhurried: for example, they do not immediately clean the tables and set them too (you can search for or ask for forks, spoons, napkins, plates, cups for a long time). The food is decent, not poisoned, the dishes are often cracked and chipped. The territory is really very well-groomed, green, there is a playground, a swimming pool, fountains. The beach is small, but there was enough space for everyone. Pretty clean, the sea too. Near the pier, once there were too many boats and the water became dirty, garbage floated and there was a gasoline film or whatever these boats fill, but that was only once. There are no corals, special footwear is not needed, the entrance is gentle, sandy. As for the animation, the hotel is rather family-friendly (it made us very happy), children are entertained in the evening (cartoons, coloring books, constructor, children's disco). During the day, gymnastics, aqua aerobics, latino and belly dancing. They offer to go to discos in the old city with a transfer to the place in the company of all the same animators for a small fee of $ 5. In general, on the third day of our stay, we got used to the hotel and local customs, and everything began to suit us. Very close to the hotel across the road there is a bank and an ATM, a grocery store (with fixed prices) a three-minute walk from the hotel. Regarding the work of the Anex tour operator: all transfers were carried out on good buses, with a Russian-speaking guide, the drivers did not arrange races. The hotel guide Walid is very polite, he appeared at the hotel every day and always answered any questions and helped if there were problems.
We visited 3 excursions (from the anex) with a child, I liked everything very much: Dolphinarium, Submarine diving, El Gouna. Mother-in-law went to Luxor, was satisfied. Anex also arranges for its tourists free car trips to state-owned stores, it is convenient with a child.
So we went, got a lot of pleasant impressions, were satisfied.
