The hotel is an excellent choice for those who are in Egypt for the first time.
The greatest value of a holiday in Egypt is the sea, corals and fish. It is very correct to start acquaintance with all this in Albatros Palace. Let the corals are not as cool as in Sharm, but they are very affordable. Even children and grannies dive here with a mask and snorkel - the pontoon is very comfortable and the cove in front of the hotel is very moderate in waves and depth.
The pools are very beautiful (with islands, bridges, palm trees and jacuzzis). The one that is closer to the sea - with warm water. There is one with children's slides (also with warm water).

The area of the hotel is very good. Walk around the neighboring Albatross 4 * and you will understand why Albatross Palace was given 5 *. Everything is brand new, but there is no such shortage of new hotels as stunted, not really overgrown palm trees. In a year or two, everything there will be tattered and in some places it will require painting, lubrication, but for now everything can be enjoyed.
The staff is polite, clingy in moderation, the servants are better dressed than in other hotels (there are no trampled shoes and washed shirts).
Vacationers - 70% Germans, the rest - Russians, Italians, Poles. The fact that such a national composition is a huge plus is clearly understood when you get on the plane home. Pushing, drinking, not listening to stewardesses people - this is the company from which it is very pleasant to take a break. The Germans - they don’t run for lunch until the restaurant opens, they don’t grab three plates of food, they don’t take sunbeds at 6 in the morning. (Somehow you get better yourself : )
Food - at the level (there is something to compare). 4 restaurants - main, Italian, Asian, and local cuisine.
We were there for a week, so that was enough and didn’t get bored, but I think that if you rest for 14 days, you will want your own pickled cucumbers and mashed potatoes with sausage : ) no one has yet died of hunger in Egypt, and everyone is only returning with extra pounds : ).
Annimatsia - very meager compared to hotels, sharpened by Russians - entertainment is standard (aqua aerobics, dancing, volleyball, children's disco, evening shows, etc. ). Since the public (Germans) is sluggish before all this, only a few participate in all this, and then soberly. Honestly, it's boring. That is why this hotel can be recommended with 100% confidence to couples on their honeymoon (who do not need anyone), those traveling with children (highly recommend! ) and people over 40 (who want a quality vacation).
The hotel is very decent, it is not a shame to advise. The only thing you definitely won’t find here is noisy and reckless parties.

P. S. When checking in, be sure to pay $ 20 for a passport and ask for a room overlooking the pool. (the amount is not large, but positive emotions from a beautiful view of the territory will be guaranteed every morning, as you open the window! ) There is no difference in relation to the Germans and Russians. It makes no sense to go to the city itself - there is no such colorful market as in Sharm (with fish restaurants and hookahs). Who does not like to bargain with the Arabs to buy souvenirs, there is a 10-minute walk from the Sun City shopping center in which the Cleopatra store (a very common name : ) in which the prices are written on the goods as in a supermarket (the prices are the most sane - you can judge by them did you successfully bargain in the previous store : ).
Have a good holiday everyone!
