I must say right away that for Egypt the hotel is very GOOD !! ! BUT....With all the pluses and merits, there were minor flaws, which in general did not spoil the impression of the rest and the hotel. Firstly, the number: We went out of season, we thought it would work... We hoped there would be enough places and so they would give a normal number. But no, they settled with a view of the construction site, I had to return to the reception, we only lost time, it cost $ 15, we got a room opposite, though already with a view of the pool and one large bed.
The room itself is flawless, TV with 4 channels in Russian, water, air conditioning, safe, hair dryer, height-adjustable shower, even mosquito repellent and thread with needles))).
The territory of the hotel is clean, the chutli grass is not cut every day, everything is neat and tidy, they treat the territory from insects.

Restaurants. There are 4 of them, plus bars, in general, it’s not possible to stay hungry, but, like in all of Egypt, the cuisine certainly leaves much to be desired, although when compared with other hotels, it is again an order of magnitude higher. There were sushi and shrimp on the menu (a couple of times) every day, meat, fish, I would advise chicken shish kebab and lula (very appetizing), and of course the pastries are not bad. Fruit neochen (do not compare with fruit in Thailand). From alcoholic drinks - bottled beer is not bad, cocktails from local alcoholic drinks are not very good. Juices are yupi, but in the bar where they make cocktails, juices are poured from bags. By the way, I never had any problems with my stomach.
The pool is clean, filters are changed 2 times a day, plus some kind of antibacterial mixture was added. The pools are very large, it's a pity that in winter you can swim only in 2 heated ones, for children and the one closest to the sea. To swim in the sea from the pantone, you need to walk along the pantone for 150 meters, though there was a wind (after all, winter). There was almost no wind at the pool due to the U-shape of the hotel.
The staff is very tactful, speaks Russian quite well.
For some reason, it seems to many that there is a biased attitude towards Russians. This is not true! The staff is attentive to everyone, you just need to behave adequately, and not boorishly. The waiters work for 5, once they didn’t even notice (while looking at the photos) how empty cups of coffee were removed from the table. Here is the service.
I recommend tipping bartenders and waiters, 5 pounds each - about 30 rubles (not that much money, but the return will be visible immediately).
Of the shortcomings: the bed linen was not changed until the pillowcases were removed and 5 pounds were put on them. After everything changed, they began to tip the cleaner every day. after that, a third one was attached to 2 bottles of water, and as a bonus, an additional roll of toilet paper))) A trifle, but nice.
So don't skimp on tips. In total, it will take 500 - 600 rubles. in Week.
Well, we went from Tez Tour, the representative was in the lobby every day, answered all questions, bought 2 excursions from him (Luxor, bathyscaphe), gave us a discount of 20 euros and gave us the third (1001 nights) for free.
So the impressions are very positive. I recommend it to everyone, because other hotels passed by, sometimes just from the facades the impression was already negative: dirt, garbage, construction sites nearby. But in Albatros Palace everything is completely different, and you will understand this as soon as you arrive at the entrance by bus... We wish everyone a good rest!
