Was in Egypt for the first time. After - I visited another hotel in Hurghada (and several passing through). Now there is something to compare. I will try to make the review as informative as possible. All my comments are supported by photos.
1. TERRITORY - the main plus of the hotel - large, well-groomed and very green! Pretty comfortable to walk around. Small lizards were noted on the territory. There are no insects and have never encountered being "fumigated" (as in other hotels).
2. FOOD - We took HB - and did not regret it. There was nothing special.
For breakfast: eggs in different variations. Potatoes (for some reason, always undercooked in the morning : -(((. Jam. Pastries. Pastries in this hotel are peculiar: ALWAYS tough. We never met soft buns there. Sausage (for an amateur. Similar to our cheapest student sausages of 3 grades ) "Breakfast" photo attached Drinks: tea, coffee, cold "yuppies", hibiscus (served by the waiter. For HB - breakfast drinks are free.

Dinner: 2-3 types of garnish: rice (sometimes rice - ATTENTION - mixed with pasta), potatoes in different variations and stewed vegetables. Meat: 3 types: fish (I didn’t eat. My husband said it’s edible), meat in various versions (beef or lamb) and poultry (sometimes turkey, sometimes chicken, sometimes - ATTENTION - pigeon. Drinks at dinner for HB for a fee! Photography " dinner" attached.
We went to dine at restaurants or McDonald's (leave the hotel, turn right and go... go... go . . until you run into it! You will see many restaurants along the way. Everywhere is delicious. This street they call ARBAT. On it large shopping center RAMSTOR (see photo). Everything is decent and with price tags (they DO NOT sell there! ) But they don’t deceive. Thanks to the good location of the hotel, you won’t stay! And if you leave the hotel and turn LEFT, after 50 meters you will Duty Free (do not forget your passport). If you exit the hotel and go DIRECTLY, going around the shops, there will be an excellent snack bar (like fast food). The local showed it to us. Tourists do not eat there - only local Arabs - cheap and nutritious (hamburgers , french fries, kebabs, etc. are cooked in front of you. ) This is where the local flavor is truly felt. . .
3. BEACH - this is why I came to Egypt. In principle, not bad, but sooooo small. And in the days of low tide, even BUOYS lay on the sand. No coral. Fish swim, but not colored. The water is warm and very salty - be sure to rinse after each entry into the water! Water perfectly holds - it is not necessary to be able to swim. There is sand at the bottom. On the surface - traces of fuel from yachts. I think the beach is small! Most of the sunbeds are broken. On the beach there is a shower under which you can rinse. And if you go behind the diving club (15-20 meters from the beach), you can find closed showers with soap accessories and a toilet (few people know about them (no signs and signboards) so it’s pretty clean there). Full of free sunbeds, never occupied in advance! Mattresses and beach towels of a terrible kind and smell unpleasant - it is unpleasant to wipe yourself with them - they bought their own. The beach has a pier and a diving center. It's a pity, but only 4 days before departure we found out that there you can buy a "Sea Walk" for only $ 5 and go for 2 hours to the most beautiful corals directly from your pier - very convenient! ! We went all these 4 days (from 16 to 18). SUPER! And inappropriately no corals on the beach. CAREFULLY! There are sea urchins at the bottom (see photo). They are not visible in the water at the bottom, but if you step on them, all the needles still cannot be removed - they can fester. It's better to see a doctor right away.
TIP: try to bring your own mask and snorkel, or at least buy new ones in Egypt (a bit expensive. . . ). The tube that you will be given was inserted into their mouths by hundreds - thousands of tourists from all over the world... And after using them, they are thrown into a large vat of water with a high concentration of CHLORINE (like, to disinfect). Ugh.

4. NUMBER - we got a two-room apartment without any additional payments (in the main building on the 2nd floor (see photo). I was in the neighboring ones - HOW LUCKY I AM!!!
IN THE ROOM: all the furniture is old, shabby. But not homeless... rather "very settled" : -)) Bedroom: a large bed, a bench (a suitcase was put on it), an antediluvian radio, lamp, air conditioning (lattice in the wall above the bed). It's cold not like a child... Once they left it on for the whole day - they came, and in the room there were no more than 12-15 degrees.
Living room: tiny sofa (one and a half butts), coffee table - glass, TV, another table - large wooden with 2 chairs, SINK (!!! ), exit to the terrace (the terrace is shared with 10 neighboring rooms). The corridor between the bedroom and the living room: sink number 2, under it is a refrigerator, on the side there is a large closet with a full-length mirror.
Bathroom: (see photo) plastic bathtub, toilet bowl, bidet. Terrace: 2 chairs and a table - view of the courtyard and children's pool.
NOTE: We just got lucky with the number. Not all rooms are like this. I just came up with my husband and asked at the reception. And they gave me. Without money.
5. STAFF - never had any problems. They cleaned up well.
BUT! On the very first day, I put all my tubes (shampoo, shower gel, etc. ) in the bathroom and apparently the cleaner thought that I didn’t need anything. NEVER reported soap, shampoo, etc. Well, I didn't really want to. With a single stinky remnant put on the first day, we washed it. For tea left 1 LE (1 pound) = 5 rubles every day. Towels were changed (although they must be put on the floor... so that they understand that they need to be changed). They also change the bath mat (it is as snow-white as a towel... in many hotels even towels do not look like that! ). The restaurants served well. The cook politely asked if we liked everything.
6. ANIMATION - I do not need animation on vacation... Therefore, the main plus is that it was absent!

7. ENVIRONMENT OF THE HOTEL: the hotel is located on a beautiful and clean street, which is quite safe to walk along. Every 100 meters - tourist police. After 20-00 it becomes very, very crowded - people of ALL nationalities go out for a walk from all neighboring hotels and the street is filled with conversations in all languages of the world! The street is VERY clean - underfoot there is a beautiful masonry of marble (I personally saw how it was WASHED during the day) and date palms. Shops, restaurants and decent large shopping centers stretch for 1-2 kilometers. There are few "persistent touts". There are no "homeless" and "beggars" in our understanding. A couple of times, skinned boys of about 6 molested - they tried to sell papyri (from banana leaves) for 25 L. E. (~ 125 rubles) apiece - bargained for 5 L. E. (~ 25 rubles) - 3 pieces.
In principle, for the money that this hotel costs (and it is quite CHEAP and AVAILABLE (14 days - 2 adults - $ 1200), this is a COMPLETELY ACCEPTABLE REST. Tune in to the rest positively - and EVERYTHING WILL BE GOOD!
