In Egypt, rested for the first time as a family with a 7 year old child. We took advantage of the incredible reduction in the price of tours due to the ban on flights from Russia (a trip for three cost $ 800). The impressions of the trip are rather positive, although they were spoiled upon arrival. The standard room was, to put it mildly, "not very good". After checking in, they asked to change, we were offered a couple more options in other buildings, in the end it turned out that our room was still "tolerable". Upon arrival at the hotel at about 9-00, we were immediately put on bracelets and offered to go to a cafe. Further stay caused mostly only positive emotions. The children's water park (very cool! ) worked daily, from 10-00 to 17-00, two heated pools, it was almost impossible to pull a child out to sea! Food - at the level, we tried almost everything in a week, we liked something, something we didn’t. I liked that a grilled dish is a must in the evening! I didn’t really like alcohol (whiskey, wine), but it was not an end in itself. The territory is full of greenery, everything is very well maintained and tidy, delivery to the beach either by bus (every 30 minutes) or on foot (maximum 10 minutes through the hotel of the same chain, only in the first line of Beach Albatros). On the beach there is a separate place for our hotel, and a small bar. Worse than in the hotel itself, but good for a snack. Leisure (volleyball, oriental dancing, aqua aerobics, etc. ) was both in our hotel and in Beach Albatros, you could participate without restrictions. Evening leisure was spent in the children's room (dancing, cartoons). There were also daily entertainment programs (karaoke, lotteries, fire shows, etc. ). All this was carried out despite the small number of tourists and the empty hall. I would like to note that if on the first day you fought off "stuck" with excursions, then then you become uninteresting to them. As a result, we took an excursion from a hotel guide at the same price (as I understand it, when choosing an excursion, they promise you everything, the main thing is that you agree, how it goes there). At the same time, the content fully corresponded to the declared one (a trip by ship, diving, fishing, swimming on the islands), which could not but rejoice, because. we had people from other hotels who were promised diving and a bunch of islands on the same excursion.
Summing up, if you have previously rested in the Crimea or on the Sea of Azov, and you are not afraid of the rather "Soviet" state of the rooms, then the rest will turn out to be quite tolerable, especially considering the cost of the tour.
In general, during the rest we received a lot of positive emotions and new impressions, and therefore the rating of the hotel is 7 out of 10.
