This trip was our first acquaintance with Egypt, and we were very pleased. Traveled with my husband, 5 year old son and mother in law. I'll tell you about my impressions.
Hotel. The territory of the hotel is very large and beautiful, everything is very clean. Considering that there is a lifeless desert outside the hotel, the riot of mallows, geraniums, magnolias, lawns and other delights in the hotel itself is really amazing, especially when you think about how much work has been invested in it. There are many swimming pools on the territory, there is an artificial wave pool, one heated pool. Sometimes we went to the heated pool of the Aqua Blue hotel, it is very large and interesting there, with grottoes and bridges.
Food. The food is just great. Lots of fresh vegetables: amazing ripe and sweet tomatoes, cucumbers, juicy lettuce. I wouldn’t eat ready-made salads, it’s better to make them yourself from those vegetables that are “looking at you” and pour them with olive oil. Several types of meat are always offered: beef, chicken, sometimes turkey. Lots of pastries and sweets. The most interesting meal is dinner, a disaster for those who care about the figure, a complete temptation. The child was always full, fresh pancakes were baked for breakfast, which he really liked, cereal with yogurt and milk. For lunch, you can take soup (if you manage to keep the child from eating french fries at the bar). By the way, if you don’t want to go to a restaurant for lunch, you can eat at a bar on the beach (french fries, pizza, vegetables, fruits, grill). There are also 2 such bars on site and a "pizzeria". But the reception from 10 to 24 hours serves unusually delicious coffee: espresso, cappuccino, latte.

I tried fresh figs and dates for the first time - very tasty! Other fruits were very sweet apples, small green bananas and peaches.
Beach and sea. The beach itself is good: a comfortable smooth descent, a sandy bottom (great for children and grandmothers who cannot swim, which we had). But it’s far to go to the beach, I knew where I was going, that my hotel is located on the second line, but I expected that it would be easier and closer to go to the sea. However, the bus is very helpful. Towels are not provided on the beach, they must be taken on site and carried with you. Swimming in the pools of Albatros Peles is not allowed.
There is also clearly a problem with sunbeds: they need to be occupied somewhere before 9 am. Otherwise, you can’t find free space and you will have to sit on a towel. It is also not very pleasant that you can not relax on the whole beach, but only on the left side, where there is clearly not enough space, since this side only comes out to the sandy slope, and then there is a concrete slab. But if you come early or calmly treat the rest on towels - everything is fine.
Service. I have no complaints about the service. Everyone is very friendly, I was with my husband and there was no particular harassment towards me. Although, of course, they catch the eye and, at every opportunity, tell me how beautiful I am. But nothing more. A sort of self-esteem booster course for those who need it. Everyone is very friendly to the child ("Hi, dear! What is your name? How are you relaxing? You are now my friend! ").
Souvenirs. DO NOT go to Hurghada for souvenirs! If you want to see the city - please. But you won’t get pleasure from the trip, spend more money, you won’t find anything special there. The hotel has an agreement with a certain shop, near which tourists are dropped off, the seller immediately takes you inside and takes you into circulation. All shops are near the hotel (if there are few of your own, you can go to Aqua Blue). Prices are even lower than in the city, the choice is large.
