Rested in Hurghada in ALBATROS RESORT family (2 adults + child) from 7 to 16 March 2008 (in Egypt for the second time, so there is something to compare). We went through the TEZ-Tour in the hope of getting a minimum of problems with transfer and accommodation. I must say that with all the positive reviews about the work of TEZ-Tour, a fly in the ointment was found: we got almost 3 hours from the airport to the hotel, although the drive there was only 20 minutes. The thing is that, for some reason, having passed our hotel (???? ), the guide Zaer (or the Hare, as he himself suggested calling) began to deliver everyone to other hotels, leaving the tourists Albatros Resort (a third of the bus !! ! ) for the most recent resettlement. As a result, we managed to drive past our hotel 3 times and instead of lunch, we arrived only for dinner. Of course, the mood after that was not the most joyful. Alas, this was only the beginning. Passing by the hotel, a power plant (or a transformer, we don’t know how) with high-voltage towers, standing close to the hotel, caught my eye.
To the left is the well-groomed sandy beach of Beach Albatros, but in the bars and restaurants on this beach you will not be allowed to eat or drink, even if you are on an all-inclusive basis, sending you to the right side and in every possible way hinting that you are strangers here. So you have to walk 500 meters for a glass of cola, and you can’t always explain to a small child why you can’t drink “right here”. Also - go sunbathing, do not forget to take a towel from the hotel - again, they will not give it to you on the beach and send it back to the hotel (10 minutes by bus) - WELL, IS IT IMPOSSIBLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH TOWELS ON THE BEACH FOR ALL ALBATROS HOTELS IN A CIVILIZED WAY? ? ? Every day we saw tourists who reached the beach and stood bewildered - I don’t want to go back for towels.
On the territory of Albatros Resort there is a mini water park with 4 slides. Have never seen them all working together (at best 3). Impressions are also not the best.

Men mostly get stuck and then forcefully help themselves to go with their hands. Women and children seem to move out quickly, but the joints are quite rigid and often leave rather sensitive cuts and injuries.

Nutrition. In general, quite good, although with a claim to Turkish cuisine - the dishes are often spicy and tough. At the same time, the variety of dishes is quite large (there is always meat, chicken, fish, there are fish days with squid, crabs and shrimps), an excellent sweet table for dinner. For tourists - 2 all-inclusive restaurants, one of which is Italian (the menu is sometimes different in them! ), And bars by the pools and on the beach. In the bars during the day there are french fries (there is no such thing as a restaurant! ) with meat or liver. There is also a Chinese restaurant (not free! ). Ice cream is given to children by the water slides during the day.
There is no promised children's lunch - they are sent from one restaurant to another - on the third day we gave up and no longer tried to demand “Dinner For Kids”, although the children's lunch time (16:45 - 17:30) is also registered at the entrance to the main restaurant, and on presentation brochures. Fruits have always been melon, guava, bananas, oranges, grapefruits, limes. For comparison, in Beach Albatros the menu is much wider: there are always hot snacks, strawberries, tangerines, apples are added to our fruits.

Tours. We think that most people know that the guides at the hotel have a price at least 40% higher, so we recommend not to succumb to intimidation about all sorts of deceptions, but feel free to take a minibus and go to the center of Hurghada (you call McDonald's when landing - this is the very center of the city - and ALWAYS AGREE ON THE COST OF THE TRAVEL!! ! - for tourists 2 pounds per person).
In any travel agency (there are plenty of them, and almost everywhere they speak Russian), you can buy the same excursions, while saving significantly.

Weather. We hoped that in March it would be much warmer - everyone was talking about the season. Unfortunately, the winds were strong, the water was cold, so in comparison with the last holiday (November) in March it was much worse. One woman went into the water for half an hour - draw conclusions  . You have to literally force yourself to go into the water (after all, you are going to swim in the sea), but we did not swim more than once a day.

Now about the good  . Yes, not everything was terrible, so for the sake of completeness, let's try to find the positive. It is convenient that representatives of TEZ-Tour are always at the hotel from 8 to 10 in the morning and from 18 to 21 in the evening, and they communicate freely in Russian and really help to resolve emerging issues, they are friendly and punctual. For those who are too lazy to go to the beach - every 30 minutes a free bus. Liked the animators.
All day long they are tirelessly involved in games (aerobics, volleyball, darts, gymnastics, dancing). There is a playground and a children's disco. Our child, not understanding a word of German (and the songs at the children's disco are in this language, since most of the vacationers are Germans), nevertheless rushed there every evening and enjoyed it immensely. There is a TV with 3 Russian channels in the room (for those who came to watch TV  ), cleaning every day with a daily change of towels, though we never laid out swans from the sheets, although they left them stable per pound. Or left little? Every evening there is a disco at the entrance to the Aqua Blue Resort - the music is mostly good, European. On site there is a shop with oils and a beauty salon, where you also need to bargain to the last. There are fields for mini-golf, though clubs are constantly in short supply, but if you wish, you can take it for a couple of visits.

Findings.
Decide for yourself whether this is the hotel where you can relax the way you imagine it. We failed. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not go there again.
