Rested in Egypt end of May - beginning of June 2009. Three adults and a child 2 years 11 months.
The host is Turtess. There are no complaints about their work.

The rooms are large, the air conditioners worked without problems, the free minibar was not cooled well, replenished irregularly (if drinks were delivered at the time when we posted a warning on the doorknob asking us not to disturb, and this happened during the child’s daytime nap, then more at that the day the delivery did not return to us), the room has a safe, which was used completely free of charge, as well as an electric kettle and a free addition to it - water, sugar, tea, cream, coffee. The beds in the standard room are huge, so the child slept without problems with us.
SEA BEACH. I'll start with the artificial peninsula of the Marina, which ends with a descent to the coral reef. There is a restaurant on the Marina - very convenient for those who would like to admire the coral beauties after dinner and not stomp to the main restaurant, and then back. Since we were in Egypt for the first time, we were very happy with our corals and wonderful fish. Although, those who rested in Sharm say that the reef is poor. Well, let's go to Sharm, let's see, compare. We were very satisfied. The Red Sea is bright colors and vivid impressions. True, having swum 200 meters from the shore, with a mask, there is no depth, you can safely stand - it became creepy, full of sea urchins. So be careful (slippers bought in a store near the hotel - a few dollars for a pair).
There are also two lagoons, but they seemed worse to us.
More about the beauty of the sea. Only because of the child, in order to show the fish, they took a catamaran with a transparent bottom on the beach. We didn’t like it: not far from the shore the water is muddy and you can’t see anything, further you can see it well and it’s also not bad.

TOURS. We went through Turtesse to Luxor (bus, 80 USD) and Cairo (air, 250 USD). Most tourists like Luxor more than Cairo. We have done the opposite. The city is interesting and unusual, next to antiquity, the life of modern Egypt opens up.
