The rest at the hotel went well, with the exception of the work of the hotel guide and the representation of the Pegas Touristik tour operator in Hurghada, but more on that below.
We arrived at the hotel at 9:30. We, my wife and daughter, were immediately placed on the second floor in room 226. A piece of paper worth 10 dollars, enclosed in a passport, helped us choose the number. The sun in our room was a guest only in the morning, after 12 noon it no longer looked into our room. In principle, a room could also be taken on the sunny side, at this time of the year the heat is more than 34 degrees Celsius rarely during the day, but here someone likes something. As a family, we do not like to bake under the sun. Immediately upon arrival we were able to have breakfast, so we can say the first day at the hotel we started in the morning.
The staff is friendly, you smile at them and they smile at you, constantly saying "Hello! " in a low voice when they meet. Unobtrusive animation, which is carried out in the hotel almost entirely in German, also suited us.

A 9-year-old daughter could always play darts, bocha, fur coats without experiencing a language barrier. My daughter went to the children's mini-disco in the evening, also without any problems. This was helped by one of the animators, who spoke decent Russian. The only thing we couldn't watch was a couple of evening performances that were only in German.
Rooms are clean, cleaning daily. The water was hot all the time. Worn-out towels were not hung. Large balcony with a couple of chairs and a table. Safe in the room, a liter electric kettle with a set of tea and coffee bags. The food at the hotel is excellent for my taste, you can always find well-cooked meat and fish dishes. Excellent pizza is baked by the pool during the day. Conveniently located on the territory of the point where from 10 to 17 hours you can get yourself an ice cream. Perhaps the only thing missing was freshly squeezed juices, solid Jupi, but this year we stocked up on a manual juicer and squeezed juice from oranges ourselves.
We rested at the hotel from March 31 to April 14, the hotel was filled by 75-80 percent until April 11. Only after April 12, the occupancy was under 100%. Therefore, sunbeds by the pool and sunbeds on the beach could be found almost without problems. We were also lucky with the weather out of 15 days of rest, only 4 days were windy, so dust and sand sometimes creaked in our teeth, the rest of the days the weather was good.
We had breakfast and dinner at our hotel, went to Arabia and Marina for lunch. Dishes fried on fire most of all prepared for our taste at the Marina. The cook there worked the same as last year. Every day they swam in the sea, the water temperature in the sea was in the range of 23-25 degrees. Himself every day for more than an hour swam on the hotel's home coral with a mask and snorkel. I really regretted that I did not buy a digital camera for underwater photography. One could snap a lot of beautiful shots with corals and sea creatures. In general, the rest was calm, pleasant and leisurely.
On the last day without any problems extended the room for another 4 hours. The return flight was delayed by 40 minutes, but it's tolerable. In general, our rating of the hotel is 5.

And now about the most unpleasant thing, about the work of the hotel guide and the Pegas Tourist office in Hurghada. We met the guide on the second day of our arrival. He introduced himself as Kirill Burdin. At first he seemed serious and responsible, but it was only a mask. We decided to take excursions to Luxor-Dendera and a boat trip to the paradise island from him. Because of my daughter's poor health (probably acclimatization), I decided to go to Luxor-Dendera alone. On April 5, I bought a tour from the guide Kirill for $120. The tour was purchased on April 6th. Before paying the money, I asked him what kind of bus would be? Cyril answered verbatim: “On such excursions as to Luksov and Cairo, Pegasus always provides us with a large, branded comfortable bus with two drivers! ".
In principle, it should be so, because it takes more than 4 hours to go to Luxor one way. Moreover, the trip starts in the dark and ends in the dark. Having paid Kirill the money for the tour, and taking a copy of the voucher, I asked him again, would there be a big bus with a toilet for sure? . Kirill assured that "the Pegasus company is a solid company and there will definitely be a big bus with a toilet and two drivers. " But on the street, he did not advise taking excursions, he said that they would definitely deceive them there and provide, at best, “an old bus not suitable for long trips, and the guide will be without knowledge of the Russian language. ” Then I told Kirill that I would go and order a lunch package at the reception. Cyril said: “Don’t, it’s my job, don’t worry, I’ll order it for you myself! ".
A "pleasant" surprise awaited me in the early morning of April 6 at the reception.
It turns out that Kirill did not order me a lunch package and I was forced to starve for half the trip and drink water until dinner in Luxor, which I grabbed from the room. The next "surprise" was waiting on the street, instead of a "large comfortable bus with a toilet" a minibus for 19 people with one driver and guide was served. There was no toilet in the minibus, the seatbacks were rigidly fixed and did not recline at all, there were no inscriptions or pasted papers about the belonging of the bus to the Pegas Touristik company either. We collected 14 people from different hotels. It is clear that it is impossible to sleep or doze off in such a bus. The worst started on the way back, when we noticed that immediately after leaving Luxor back to Hurghada, the bus driver began to fall asleep. It was perfectly visible in the rearview mirror. It looked just scary, the driver slowly closed his eyes completely,

I rode with my eyes closed for a few seconds, then slightly opened my eyes, then closed them again. The bus sometimes veered slightly to the right, then to the left. Women were the first to raise the noise, then I went up to the sleeping guide, woke him up, and explained that he was sitting with the driver and would not let him sleep in any way. The guide told us all that everything is fine, it just seems to us that the driver is sleeping, everything is under control, and after ten to fifteen minutes he went to bed further. The women again woke up the guide, he began to make noise that "it is not his duty, his duty is to tour and see the sights and tell about them. " The driver continued to sleep on, the bus rushed along the road at a speed of 80-85 kilometers, and we received our paid stress. This ride lasted over three hours. Only at the entrance to Hurghada, it was already dark, the driver finally woke up and we calmed down a bit.
We exchanged E-mails and phone numbers on the bus with our comrades from the terrible trip. We decided that later we would write to each other and present a collective claim to the main office of Pegas Touristik in Moscow. After the trip, I immediately met with the guide and asked him my questions. When asked why, through his fault, I ended up without a lunch package, he answered me: “Sorry, I forgot! You can take any inexpensive excursion from me as compensation! ". To which I refused him, saying: “We miraculously returned safe and sound from one of your excursions, and you offer me to risk my life with Pegasus again ? ? ". When I asked why, instead of the branded Pegas Touristik bus with a toilet and two drivers, we were provided with a private minibus with one driver, the guide Kirill answered: “I have no idea, the operator at the Pegasus headquarters in Hurghada deals with these issues. I'm just giving him information! ".
That is, guides in hotels promise you one thing, but you get something completely different. Kirill refused to financially compensate for the terrible trip. Kirill Burdin also refused to accept my application with a claim against receipt, saying that: “we have an instruction in Pegasus according to which I cannot put my signature anywhere! ". In the hotel, on the Pegasus stand, there is an announcement: “Attention! Due to the increasing incidence of incidents, we remind you that the company is not responsible for excursions not purchased from your guide. Don't risk your vacation! ". Only this is a false announcement, no one in Pegasus wants to bear any responsibility and does not bear it. Here is such a "branded" service.
