Good afternoon!
It was my first trip abroad.
Rested 2 weeks from 07/06/2010. I would like to share my impressions. There are many impressions, I will try to briefly describe.
We used the services of TEZ TOUR. Everything is organized with high quality, an adequate guide, there are no complaints about the tour operator, well done. Don't think of it as advertising. The only problems were with flight delays (for 1 hour there and 30 minutes back) and for an hour waiting for luggage at Vnukovo on the way back. But this is probably a problem in the Atlant Union and Vnukovo. At the Hurghada airport, everything was organized at the highest level, there were no delays anywhere, it passed control and received luggage. Shame on our Vnukovo, in Hurghada everything is better organized. In Hurghada, even Duty Free is much cheaper than ours.
Transfer: I don’t know about other tour operators, but I didn’t experience any problems.

Hotel: At the reception you don't have to give money "for a good room". The rooms are all the same, you will be asked which floor you prefer, say "not the first". The Germans and the Dutch take the first floors, they hang out mostly in the pool, they don’t go to the sea. I took the 3rd floor and it seemed to me that I guessed right. It could have been a second one. On the first floor, I would not be comfortable, like a courtyard, it seems that everyone can go in or look into the room. I do not recommend the first floor. Rooms, furniture, appliances shabby, but in working order. It can be seen that everything was done in a hurry, anyhow. However, for some reason it didn't bother me. There is only one Russian TV channel (First). It is interesting to watch Arabic channels, you can feel the Arabic flavor. There is a refrigerator, they always put non-carbonated drinking water in bottles and soda in small bottles (Pepsi and 7up) (free of charge) once a day. Also free safe.
Theft: I have not heard of such cases, but I do not recommend leaving money and valuables in a conspicuous place. This is not even I recommend, but the hotel management.
Food poisoning: I have not heard of such cases. One day I, my mother-in-law and the child were vilified, but not much. According to our guesses, this is due to milk or coffee. Be careful with this.
Tipping: Egyptians accept tips. Every day I left one dollar on the TV. Even my mother-in-law liked the quality of cleaning. You don’t need to make your bed in the morning, everything will be done during cleaning. We had problems in the dining room, we were rarely approached by the waiters at dinner (we needed to bring beer). We were worried about this. They approached the Germans, but not us. It's no problem to get a beer on your own at the bar (10m from the restaurant), however we wanted to have a beer brought to us while we served our food. They put a dollar under the glass, the waiters shook off the dollar stuck to the glass, took the empty glass and left. I put a dollar on a tray, they accepted it, but there was no special effect. There is a "Thank you" box for tips, put it there. In the end, I realized that it was useless, the problem was not in the tip, but in the workload of the waiters. Don't be offended by the waiters. If you set a goal, you can still call the waiter to you. In bars (not restaurants) it is necessary to act like this. It is necessary to become familiar with the waiter for a couple of days, and then put a dollar in the "Thank you" box so that he notices, but not defiantly.
Food: I ate breakfast and dinner at the main BelAir restaurant, and dined at the sea restaurant. Which is what I advise you. Dine at the BelAir poolside restaurant is hot. The food is delicious, although not very varied, and for 2 weeks I didn’t have the thought that there was absolutely nothing to eat.

Contingent: 80% - Germans and Dutch, the rest are Russians, Arabs, Poles, etc. Everyone is friendly. Russians are a minority, therefore they behave modestly. Arabs are closed, but there are no problems with them. Be polite to everyone and everyone will be polite to you.
Service staff: always friendly and polite. There is no such thing in Russia, it was very nice. They treat everyone well without distinction. They sometimes seem weird when they try to guess your nationality, but that's just so that the next time they see you they say "Good afternoon! " and not "Gutten Tag! ". If you keep your eyes on the employee for more than 2 seconds, they will definitely say hello.
Beach: the beach is mostly Russians and Arabs. There are enough sun loungers for everyone. You don't need to take sunbeds. Towels are not available. I rarely donated, and then only in order to take a clean one the next day. Fish are different. Those that swim along the beach seem to be harmless. There is a rule: the more beautiful the fish, the more poisonous it is. Don't touch or tease them! I swam with a mask-snorkel-fins near a sea restaurant. Many beautiful fish swim there, corals... I recommend taking a mask-snorkel-fins with you. You can also rent it there, 2 dollars a day. I saw a lot of beautiful fish, spotted stingray, octopus and barracuda sharks (small ones).
Entertainment: Various shows (Show Time) are held every day. Boring and not very interesting. The hotel employs German animators, they basically entertain people. They treat both Russians and Germans equally well. Feel free to take pictures and joke with them. There is a sports center. Here for free and without queues squash, tennis, ping-pong, rocking. There are paid hammam and massages. In the evening, you can play billiards in a special bar on the 2nd floor.
Excursions: was on the bathyscaphe. Don't go there, waste your time. On the hotel beach with a mask, you will see more interesting fish. Been to the Jungle Water Park. 4 points, expected more. For children 4-10 years old, it’s normal, but for adults there is not enough of everything and the queues are long for the slides. The guide can offer a trip to the dancing fountains. Complete nonsense, waste your time.

Conclusion: I would still go to this hotel. It is for a quiet family measured vacation without noise and bustle.
