I had been planning to go to Egypt for a long time and finally found a reason =) - I got married and it was decided to spend my “honeymoon” there. I selected the tour myself, carefully chose the city, hotel, tour operator, and came to the travel agency with a ready-made printout from the Internet, where the price, date of departure, and so on were indicated. The choice fell on Hurghada, because. I really wanted to visit Luxor, but there were no bus tours from Sharm. But more on that later.
Our tour operator was TEZTOUR, there were no problems with departure, arrival, transfer and accommodation. At the airport, we were received by the meeting guides, placed on buses, and reached the hotel quickly. At the reception, we were asked to walk around the territory for an hour before checking in, at first we didn’t like it. after a night flight we were very tired, but then we found a plus in this. We examined the territory and already approximately knew in which of the buildings it is better to settle. I smiled sweetly at the receptionist and, not forgetting to mention that we were newlyweds, asked for a good room. Which was provided to us without any additional payments =) We were placed in building 5000, it is located near the Olympic pool and the restaurant. The receptionists do not speak Russian! , or very badly, so you will have to show your knowledge of English or communicate with gestures.
I read a lot of reviews that in Egypt they treat Russian tourists badly, but in reality this turned out not to be the case. I think it depends on you, with what attitude you come, so it will be. I did not meet rudeness and rudeness, if you smile and say hello, then you will receive in return too)). When choosing a hotel, I found a lot of negative reviews about the hotel and about Egypt in general. Therefore, I did not expect to see anything like that there, I perfectly understood that this was not Europe and the service there was much lower. Yes, the room was cleaned every day, but the dust on the lamp did not disappear during our entire stay) Towels and bed linen were changed every day, the floors were somehow washed, and the clothes scattered by us were neatly folded)) Nobody extorted Baksheesh, but we each a day they paid a person who cleaned $ 1 each and exchanged big money for small ones. We chose the time for cleaning the room ourselves, we simply asked him to come when we leave the room.

The hotel area is very beautiful and large, 3 swimming pools, lagoon, beach. Lots of flowering bushes. There were no problems with the number of towels and sunbeds. The food is really monotonous, but at first the eyes ran wide)) Everyone can choose what to eat. Lots of salads, soups, side dishes, meat, buns. In general, you won’t stay hungry, another question is with what pleasure you will eat it. By the end of the holiday, I got bored with food. But sweets are amazing, very tasty!! ! There were always enough forks and plates, there were always empty tables, though not always clean)) The seat cushions were greasy, we had to cover them with napkins. And this is in a 5-star hotel))) Such things happened, but I repeat once again, I was ready for this.
Everyone in the hotel speaks Russian except the receptionist and DOCTOR!!! ! But you can talk to everyone. Aesculapius insurance services are really free and, unfortunately, I had to use them, but everything worked out.
The animation was not bad, everything was in Russian, but, to be honest, it was indifferent to me. I do not belong to the category of girls and women who are ready to dance pseudo-Arabic dances on the beach in 35-degree heat and run after a nice animator to the sea and back)))
Our tour lasted 10 days, it was reluctant to lie on the sea all this time. We bought all the excursions from the guides of the teztour in the ! hotel! If you buy several excursions at once there will be a discount. You need to learn about excursions on the first day, because trips to Luxor and Cairo are not every day. We were both there and there, it turned out that bus travel is very difficult, if they knew, they would have chosen air excursions. Of course, whether or not to attend excursions is a personal choice for everyone, it was important for us to see the Temple of Queen Khapshetsut and the pyramids))) I also recommend going on a boat trip with a stop at Paradise Island, the sea there is a thousand times more beautiful than on the territory of the hotel. And be sure to snorkel! I really didn’t want to go riding quad bikes, a rather dubious pleasure, but in general I liked the excursion (Sahara Park) to the desert.
In general, I liked the rest, with the exception of some details, the hotel is good. The main thing is not to be upset once again if something is wrong and do not read the reviews !! ! =))) Everything is in your hands!
