We returned from Hurghada two days ago. They flew through the infamous Joan Up, bought tickets in late May. One week before departure, our flight was postponed from 3.08 to 2.08, but departed (and returned to Kiev), surprisingly, on time, although the flight number, airport and carrier were changed again the day before departure. We were at the hotel at 6 am. They immediately gave money for early booking, but returned the money, said the hotel was overcrowded, told to come by 10 am. The bracelets were not put on at once, again they were told to wait until 10 am (just when breakfast ends). We changed clothes and went to the sea and explore the territory. I did not want to eat, but I wanted to drink. Then we learned that in all bars (and there are 11 of them on the territory) there are coolers with water, come and drink as much as you want, and almost all bars are open from 8 am.

We were in Hurghada for the first time (because we were planning a trip to Luxor), but before that we were in Sharm 11 times, in the best (budget) hotels, there is something to compare!
Flowers, flowering trees, clean pools, benches and dumps stand all over the territory, everywhere is clean (even in public toilets), well-groomed and very beautiful. The lagoon is small and muddy (but for children just once), we always swam in the sea on the left (where the pier is a sunset with soft white sand), there is great! The water is the cleanest and warmest! There are a lot of sunbeds, the old ones are true, but these are trifles. In short, the territory and the beach score 5+. But be careful in the water, a lot of sharp stones! Especially from the bar Vista, when entering the Lagoon, every day someone injures his feet, I wonder why not put a warning sign near this event at sea. On the first day, the man severely cut his foot there, and then every day someone was injured there.

Who was in Sharm - you can not even take a mask with you, you will stretch in vain. If you go to the pier, you can see a dozen fish, but do not count. There are crabs in the fireplace. Colored corals a couple of pieces at depth.
By 10 they returned to the reception, the rooms did not show up, they asked to come in after an hour, but wore bracelets, said that from 11 they were fed in two bars (near the third pool and in Vistina on the border of lagoon and sea). But in fact it turned out that I go here and there from 12! We had to wait and drink beer (by the way, in Vesta decently brew espresso and pour Heineken). At 13 we had lunch at the main restaurant, went to the reception and gave us rooms (we had 2 rooms). They gave in the 4th building, about which I read a lot of negative reviews (numbers 4304 and 4305). She was ready in advance for what she would have to ask for. But! They did not want to change!

On the third floor (top floor), a balcony on the inner quiet alley (we like to sleep at night and during the day, so the lack of noise and screams from the pools and the main alley pleased). The furniture, of course, is outdated, but the plumbing is all new and everything worked properly. It was 10 days and during all this time nothing broke. The air conditioning is noisy, but it is not individual, but general, we were ready for that. In addition, with an open balcony at night, the room was always windy and hot, to be honest, was not, we did not turn it on at night. There were no problems with hot water either (as I read in the review below). It was said that once the light went out for a few minutes, but we did not notice it. In general, the rooms, by Egyptian standards, we got decent. 4th Corps, indeed, the farthest from the sea (to the sea, not to the Lagoon, namely to the sea, 6 minutes fast, 10 minutes slow), but I was just happy, moving is useful, especially after overeating )).
Instead, the reception is next to and to the main restaurant 3 minutes.
Wi-Fi catches (and sometimes very well) throughout the territory in public places (bars, reception). Very good at the Vista Bar and by the second pool. It is not enough to watch big videos, but it is quite tolerable to send messages in messengers and send photos and small videos.
Food (for Egypt !! ) Very good. I wonder people who expect to eat shrimp, crabs and other delicacies every day for $ 500-600 a week. Egypt is not even Turkey! But here everything is worthy. Always 3-4 types of meat dishes, 2-3 types of fish dishes, very tasty grilled vegetables, always french fries, pasta, pancakes and cakes, 3 dishes are always prepared on the grill (not counting french fries), with a little fruit, but there have always been bananas, melons, oranges, pears, grapes, dates, apples. Baking a lot. Jelly. Ice cream daily from 12-16 in three bars and they also have pizza, hot dogs, burgers and sweets.
Especially 4 a la carte, which you can go for lunch and dinner an unlimited number of times (all delicious, but the best Italian, there is a very wide menu). The waiters immediately told us what was AI and what was paid.
The only big minus is recording for a maximum of 3 days ahead, and there were a lot of people, recording from 10-20 every day, but we had to come at 9.30 to be the first and sign up where we want. But everyone tried. Our guide at the meeting said that you can't go to Mexico, that everything is very spicy and impossible - it's a lie, only a few dishes are a little spicy, but everything is very tasty.
No alcohol at all, except beer. Only in ala cards pour normal wine (according to AI).
Water slides next to the reception. Weak for adults, but still cool. For children there are also two small slides in one of the pools. There is a beautiful playground with a swing.

In 10 days there were three very good live performances of musicians, twice on the beach near the lagoon, once in the pool bar, daily animation. It will not be boring. The bars always play top music, and the bar near the first pool-classic (piano). There is a playground for bicycles (adults and children).

We cleaned the room normally, twisted various cute figures every day (regardless of tips). The waiters are generally friendly. But here the human factor works. The hotel has a lot of foreigners, about half foreigners and half locals, and very few of our fellows. 5-6 times the waiters sent me to the end of the queue of locals who tried to come in without a queue (even with children). On the other hand, several times we served some people without queuing, with the same blue bracelets as ours. Maybe it's a tip.

The restaurant has one hall (the restaurant is arranged as a long passage with a buffet, from which to the left and right diverge small halls with waiters attached to them), the last hall on the left side of the main entrance. It is extremely unpleasant, when you come to take tea yourself, you will be given an answer - sit down, we will bring it now - and they will just ignore you. Or you stand and wait with plates for the waiter to clear the table and set the utensils for you,
and they communicate with each other, and you just do not notice! And immediately, with a wary smile, they run up to the foreigners and carry everything they ask for. It's terrible! But not everyone does that, it is worth paying tribute.

But in general I really liked the rest, I liked everything except the incomprehensible attitude of some staff. Will I advise others? So! And I do not like to go to the same hotel twice, but I would still come to this one.
