Usually I don’t write reviews, but before this trip there were a lot of worries: the pool was being renovated, oil spills, negative reviews, etc.
I must say right away that the pool was opened for our arrival, oil was collected... ))
This is not the first time in Egypt, and of course there are many better hotels, but at the same time, not everything can be arranged in them either: cuisine, service.

Desert Rose draws on a good 4, very competent area - many pools and bars, enough greenery, a beautiful lagoon for children and there are reefs for adults - we did not see so many fish as in a hotel on the Paradise Island excursion. Of course, there is a crush in the restaurant, because. The hotel is big, but the food is varied and delicious!! ! To avoid poisoning, do not eat anything and do not drink water from the pool. There are a lot of sunbeds and the feeling that you are relaxing in a hotel with 1000 rooms is not there, people are evenly distributed throughout the entire length of the hotel. The rooms were well cleaned and linen changed daily. One minus, and significant, because. we were with children - this is children's animation, the animators swam in the pool all day, and only in the evening they remembered their work and gathered the children in a circle at Disco. There was something for adults to do in the evening: there are large plasma panels in two bars and they broadcast: sports and music, live music in the winter garden every evening and, of course, a cultural program in the amphitheater. I tried to fight the rudeness of the bartenders, the question worked very well: your name and the manager, they immediately remembered in person and were very kind, and arguing usually did not lead to anything good.
Opposite the hotel there is a good shopping area, very close (to the right of the hotel) is the Cleopatra shopping center with fixed prices - it’s definitely more profitable to take souvenirs than in shops, a free train runs from Cleopatra (every 30 minutes, about 800 meters) to the Sunzent Mose shopping center (name not exact)), they took mango, grapes, halva, towels, children's clothes (factory), etc. , it turns out much cheaper than in the shops... and most importantly, the prices are fixed. And we also went to the Jungle water park on our own, from the hotel by taxi 10 Egyptian pounds for everyone (only take a taxi on the street, but not a bus), in the water park they paid $ 15 per adult per child $ 10 from 13-00 to 18-00 without food, but you can eat for cash in all their bars, and the travel agency takes, if I'm not mistaken, $ 55 and $ 35, it's cool in the water park, be sure to visit.
