We rested in Desert Rose from 08/25/2010 to 09/04/2010. In general, we received positive impressions about the hotel. Of course, this is not 5 stars at all, but even before the trip I had no illusions about this, for the price it’s clear that this is a “four”.
The territory of the hotel is huge, but within reason, at first it scares, but then you get used to it and even start to like it, that there is where to turn around.
The room was originally taken with a sea view, so it was assumed that this was the 6th building, at the reception they simply asked us if we wanted a good room or a very good one. As a result, one of the best in the 6th building on the third floor was given for 20 bucks - 6339. Everything worked in the room, but the furniture was already a little scratched, apparently it is quickly losing its original appearance due to careless handling of it. I liked the large shower cabin - it is convenient when there is a lot of space.

They cleaned the room well too, for $ 1 every day the cleaner built either swans, or fish, or hearts, or something else. Towels and linens were also changed every day.
All the staff speaks Russian, at least a little. English was not required at all for the entire stay. You start to say something in English, and they answer you in Russian. In general, I advise this hotel, for those who do not know a word of English, you will not need it anyway. In general, the staff is very friendly, welcoming, always ready to help.
About food. I liked it : ) For breakfast there were donuts, pancakes and omelettes that I love, and much more. For pancakes there are apricot, strawberry, mango jams, as well as dark and light honey. There were cut fruits: guava, melon, grapefruits, apples or pears. Watermelon was given for dinner, and generously so - in huge portions of a quarter of a watermelon. Most often, watermelons came across sweet. I have never seen normal salads in hotels, so I didn’t eat local salads either. From vegetables I took only chopped cucumbers, tomatoes and grated carrots. There were several types of yogurts to choose from, I didn’t try them either - I’m afraid to eat fermented milk products of unknown origin. I liked the meat, chicken and fish, they were both for lunch and dinner, cooked in different ways. For dinner, there was always something cooked on the grill on the street, as a rule it was delicious. I didn’t like only fried octopus, but I’m not a fan of seafood at all. It rarely came to desserts, but I tried some - normal, for different tastes: biscuit cakes with cream, oriental sweets, something like a soufflé . Drinks are a problem. Juices like UPI are reluctant to drink, Coca-Cola is also of little use. In general, they drank tea and mineral water. Cocktails are also made on the basis of these UPIs. I can’t say anything about alcoholic drinks, they don’t interest me. In general, food is provided 24/7 at the hotel. This is the first time I've encountered this : )
About the sea. We swam only in the lagoon, because we didn’t take special slippers, and there was no desire to climb rocks and corals. Compared to the sea, the lagoon is not so beautiful, but clean, the sand is soft. There were always enough sun loungers on the beach at any time. I do not advise you to leave towels unattended, because there are cases of theft of towels. Apparently affects the vast majority of compatriots among vacationers. In hotels where the majority of Germans rest, I have not heard of such cases.

The pools are great and big. Best of all, the closest to the reception with bridges and Olympic. In general, the Olympic is the cleanest, the least people bathe in it.
The animation is average like this: something is good, something is not very good. I liked the comedy show, I love this genre. Many in the reviews scold the chief animator Sam, but he seemed very talented to me, everything rests on him.
I want to say thank you to the Tez-Tour guides. My child forgot his mobile phone bag on the bus that took us to the hotel. We reported the loss to the guides, they quickly contacted another guide on the bus, they found our bag, and the next day in the evening we received it.
In terms of cleanliness. The rooms are clean, the territory too, although our compatriots are constantly pigging, the staff barely has time to clean up. In a restaurant, the tables are not always clean, you need to ask them to wipe and control this process, because they can wipe it clean, leave half the crumbs. The appliances are mostly clean, dirty ones came across very, very rarely. If I didn't like something, I changed it. I don't see any problems with this.
At the expense of the contingent: 99% of Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians do not make me very happy. I prefer hotels where there are no more than 20% of ours. So it is more comfortable to rest and more order.
In general, the atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant, pulling back there again.
