Rested with family at the end of December 2010. We flew from Anex Tour. Before choosing a hotel, carefully read the reviews. And we already knew that mosquitoes get stuck there, so we bought mosquito repellents, that when leaving the airport they make a fool, they charge not 15 USD for a visa, but 17 USD. for a person. We already knew from the reviews which building to settle in, and what rooms there were. But I'll start in order.
1. Arrived in Hurghada. Immediately at the customs they demanded 17 USD. for a visa, those who did not know - paid, but I opened my mouth, some people who also knew this joke began to resent... A representative from Anex came up and showed us to speak more quietly and pointed to the window where the visa was 15 USD. In short, out of nowhere, the Arabs are fooling our honest people!
2. Settlement. They asked me to give a building 2 or 3. (They are actually better, because they are located in the center of the territory, opposite the canteen, immediately a heated pool, in short it is very convenient - you don’t need to go far). They gave a room without a balcony, I asked to be replaced, then they gave me a room on the first floor, but from the reviews I knew that the balcony door barely closes and everyone can climb into the room. Then they gave me a room in building 3, very large and cool. Conclusion: ask and they will give you what you want, even without bucks. The rooms are really old… But I knew where I was going, not to lie in the room, but to be on the sea….

3. The next day there was a meeting with the representative of the Anex tour Aevar. Ham and ill-mannered type. This is my third time in Egypt, but I have never seen such a jerk. He asked if we would take excursions, I refused, because we had already been everywhere. After that, he became rude, saying that we were 15 minutes late for a meeting with him, that we would have big problems here. Or stood so that people just looked around. And these problems with him were not only with us! He really spoils the hotel from the first day of stay! And in the end, he didn't even post the information about the flight delay. We and other people have been sitting at the reception desk since 16.00, asking him when the bus will leave, he makes a stupid expression on his face, they say, I don’t know, soon... Then he completely disappeared... The bus came at about 19.00 Can you imagine how long we sat waiting... It turned out that there was Flight delay!
4. Sea and beach. Super! There are a lot of places on the beach, there is volleyball, morning exercises, and water aerobics. It was cold to swim in the lagoon, but just a short walk - the open sea - the water is just fresh milk! There are corals, you swim like in an aquarium! There is no such sea anywhere. Only in Egypt. Sharks were not seen. There are nets in the lagoon, fences against sharks.
5. Nutrition. I have been to many hotels in Hurghada and Sharm. The food is superb. Large selection of seafood - octopus, crabs, rapana, shrimp salads. The only drawback is that there are few fruits, and if they were, they were cut into small pieces so that they would not be taken out of the restaurant. People write that the restaurant resembles a canteen, the way it is, the location is such... But you can get used to it... Alcoholic drinks are normal, I tried everything, but settled on brandy and cola. They even poured beer from cans! Very tasty beer! I have been in cool hotels, this was not the case...
6. Water park. He's new and cool. The staff is on every slide and looks after everything. On the second day, my husband and I took a ride and fell off the circle. They hit my knee very hard, and I also hit my temple. They ran up and applied ice. But this does not mean that it is bad, you just need to be very careful!
7. Animation. I did not like! The guys certainly try, but such a primitive... For children, a children's disco in the evening, mine did not go, since he is already 11, and it is already a shame to dance with the kids. Show programs - none! Fire show horror! Divorce people full! In short, suck!

8. Stores. There are a number of shops near the hotel, but if you want to go to the center of Hurghada, please take a taxi. We took 3 USD one way. Bargain and buy everything at normal prices. Towels 10. u. e. - this is very large and double, t-shirts 5. u. e. , cups -2. u. e. , bathrobe - 10. u. e. , strawberries per kilo - 2. u. e. , dates - 3. u. e. e, grenades - 2 c. u. Souvenirs - key chains, magnets for 1 c. u.
9. In general, the holiday was a success! Remember, be sure to take mosquito repellent! They are now all over Hurghada! Turn on the positive, mood, and the rest will be unforgettable!!! !
