I went to the Desert Rose Hotel with a big group! and I want to note right away that if you eat alone, or with a child, then in principle there is nothing to do! ) Animation is very boring, and in general the animators are rotten, they can’t call people anywhere, so you have to amuse yourself) I also want to say, not go to the "masquerade show" it's a complete HORROR you will pay money for nothing! better take a day off from boring animations at home or go outside the gate) Well, I’ll start writing about the hotel! )
1. Beach or the so-called lagoon! ))
the lagoon is a large puddle of muddy, cold, slightly salty water! )

if you want to swim, go a little further out and swim in the sea! Yes, the entry is not very good, but if you buy special shoes or fins, then everything is fine! the sea is always much warmer than the "miracle" lagoon : )) and if you came just to sunbathe, then the beach is very scarce, there was no shortage of sunbeds, but I went in January, and there was a strong wind, for this there are special partitions that close maximum 2 sunbeds, and we, as I said, went with a company of 9 of us, and we wanted to lie together! but when we took 2 or 3 partitions, the Egyptians approached us and brazenly took away the partitions from us with the words "one umbrella, one partition" but when we explained that we have a lot of sunbeds, and we can’t close with one partition, they just left from us with an evil look! ))) There are 2 bars with drinks on the beach.
2. Pool.
there are 3 swimming pools on site, the first pool is very large but terribly cold!
near this pool, too, in a calm way, you could find a sunbed.
the second "Olympic" pool is a little warmer than the first one, but no one has ever swam in it either) it was already more difficult to find a place to lie down there, because it was close to the so-called "paradise" pool))) it is heavenly because it is the only one with heated! ) there was no place at all near this heavenly pool, To take a place near this pool you need to get up at least at 6 in the morning and take sunbeds! )
3. Food
The place where they eat there is already commonly called a "dining room" and not a restaurant)
there are a lot of halls in the "dining room", and there is a street veranda where it's nice to have lunch, in principle, I don't even want to write about food) well, what do you want is EGYPT, don't expect a super rich assortment of food here! every 3 days there was a fish day, on a fish day in the evening they put up "corpses" of different fish on the street))) they also make very tasty fish on the grill, every day they did something tasty either donuts or pears in batter) grilled meat, well You won't leave hungry at all! you can also dine on the beach.
4. Numbers

Purely out of principle, we did not give money upon check-in, but we were settled quickly in literally 15 minutes, even though there were 9 of us))) well, of course, we lived in more than one room)) we were given 3 rooms, 3 in each room people, the rooms were next to each other and exactly the same) only the room that I got was (as it seemed to me) was the most terrible))) well, the fact that the rooms smell of dampness, I’m silent, everyone smelled so)) but we often didn’t flush the toilet! then I realized that the point is that we didn’t give money at the reception, well, we didn’t care! although we arrived with a large amount of money, we did not give them money and change the number, and by the way, after all this, we met other people, and for the sake of interest we asked them if they gave money, they said yes, and took us to your number, it is no different from ours!!! ! so we even did the right thing!
in the end, we didn’t come to sit in the room! ))
5. Animation
as I already said, the animation is boring, but if you are going to Egypt for the first time, you might like it, and so it’s the same figuratively in every hotel! ))) once there was a “super show with fire” we sat for 20 minutes and left! ) in the winter garden after the animation there is good live music, after it the disco begins. ! )) a disco for an amateur! ))
well, that's basically it! ) to say that the rest is spoiled or something like that, the language won't turn to say)) because everything was fine, it's better to relax in Egypt in winter than to sit in Moscow! ))) so don't go for such a price thinking!! ))) and I also want to advise the "star fish" restaurant, it is not expensive, and they cook very tasty food there, and it's only a 6-7 minute walk from the hotel! ) if you have any questions, do not hesitate to write!!! ) ))
